The Mobile Shop

We came in to set up a new plan for my parents and we surprised by the knowledge of the staff. They listened to our needs and exceeded our expectations. We went to the superstore location in nanaimo and we given a free case as well as 150$ worth of PC points to use in superstore. It was quick and easy for my parents to get what they needed.

Professional service, Zohen walked me through my existing plan and helped me find a better one based on my needs. I was spending alot on my Carrier plan while it was not being use that much. Switched to the suggested carrier and plan leaving me some extra money on the side! Glad I walked into the their shop!

Do Not purchase your new phone at the Mobile Shop! Does not matter where the store is just avoid this retailer.More importantly Do Not purchase their insurance. It is an absolute joke and won't cover a thing. You will pay.I have a cracked screen on my Samsung S21 5 ultra. I am 18 months into my contract and have been paying for Mobile Protection Plan at 14.99 month. Now they want 399. To replace my phone with one of their refurbished phones.. The repair is 499. So there is protection here. Save your money n fix your own phone. It's cheaper than buying this joke of a protection plan.When I purchased it the sales person assured me I would have the option of fix or replace. There is no fix only replace with a refurbished phone.Heads up there is zero protection offered here. Do Not Waste your time or money at this store

The experience was just smooth and amazing! I feel the staff especially the manager is so helpful and he knows what he is doing which definitely makes him to process everything quick and even the problem solving ability is just mind blowing! I would definitely recommend anyone staying in Nanaimo to get the best cellular plans and services from TMS and make sure to meet Zohen (manager) and he will make sure that you dont go home disappointed!

If I could give negative stars I would. Single worst customer service I have ever had, after months of going back and forth between where I live on Gabriola and the store (3 hour commute each time) they are STILL causing issues. They have wasted so much of my time and money, signed me up for a provider that I couldn't stay with because my house is in their extended service zone. Took me 3 weeks of coming back every weekend to get to that point and I had to pay almost $200 just to correct this mistake. They did not properly sign up my account number with my email for the new provider so that was hours spent on hold with the company to correct that. When I returned the phone they did not credit the cost as they should have so now I have a $1,500 bill that I will once again have to travel into town to dispute because it is their error and the company can't fix it. I have dealt with multiple employees at the store and still somehow have had the worst experience getting a phone. Do your self a favor and do not come here if you value your time and money. I am in contact with their head office and will be submitting formal complaints after I return to dispute the newest issues they have caused.
