Primacy - Milton Family Care Centre

I don’t have a family doctor at the moment while I stay in Milton. I do have ongoing and one-off health issues that I always take here, even though there are clinics much closer. The staff are so friendly and helpful and they are very efficient and I’ve never been made to wait longer than ~10 minutes to see a doctor.

You guys gave me the completely wrong medicine right before my trip and I called and called with no response and I went in and told me I had to write an email. You guys couldn’t answer a phone what makes me believe you’re going to answer my email. You guys are so unprofessional and I can’t believe I’m going through this it’s absolutely ridiculous. I done my part and more so do your job!!!!! I can’t sleep because of you and I had to leave the country without my meds. Hopefully you guys answer in time or it will be a problem.

Went in to get a urine test done and since it was taken on a Friday I was told my the female doctor that it would take around 2-3 business days. They called me to set up an appointment 6 days after my walk in and when I called back they told me the results haven't come in yet. What?? Why call me then? Why tell me it's going to take 3 days? I've been waiting over week for this and I can't even get ahold of anyone when I call.

I was a patient coming in for a walk-in appointment at this clinic. The doctors were fine but the overall wait times and experience were atrocious. I came in for a simple prescription, and while I understand these are difficult times and clinics are extremely busy a little bit more communication about wait times would be appreciated.I arrived at the clinic as the first patient at 10am and was prompted to return at 11am and was made to choose whether I'd prefer a virtual or in-person appt. Because I was told that the wait times were the same I opted to consult a doctor in person. After arriving there was one person with a scheduled appointment then I was next.after about 20 minutes of waiting for the patient to finish I was prompted to enter a doctors room. In here I waiting another over an hour just to be able to speak with a single doctor. These wait times are fine but the secretary failed to even give any approximate wait times after I had arrived at 11am.As I mentioned I have no problems waiting, but It would be nice if they were courteous enough to simply let patients know what the approximate wait times would be so they don't have to waste their time sitting and waiting.If you are not willing to wait minimum 3 hours do yourself a favour and just go to any other clinic in Milton. I'm sure they would do a better job at assisting and providing decent customer service.

The receptionists are all terrible and depressed. The family doctor, and the other doctors are horrible. Don’t waste your time coming here. Plus the wait times are bad. The family doctor is grumpy too. Plus, one of the guys with glasses was super rude and interrupted me every time I talked. He didn’t even believe my problems, and accused me of causing all of them. Every time I went in for a problem, the doctors dismissed my problems and tried to accuse me of exaggerating. If you’re a teenager, they don’t care about what you’re saying they just assume you have depression and that your phone is causing all your problems. Get this disgusting place out of business. Never come here, there’s a reason this place is 2.4 stars

Horrible scheduling issues. Made an appointment and had to wait for almost 2 hours for everyone that was walk-in was seen before me. The Dr was very nice but I would not return or recommend anyone to go there. It’s totally mass confusion beginning with the appointment schedulers and what is offered at the clinic. They need to get major administrative training and reorganization.

Normally this place is great, low wait times, in and out.But - today you failed to answer the phone, several times, and when I showed up with my sick child you turned me away an hour before closing, empty waiting room, I was told the doctor left for the day.Why was there even a receptionist? She wasn't even coherent, looked at me puzzled when I walked in, when I asked to see a doctor you SIMPLY SHOOK YOUR HEAD. Not even a verbalized response. You have NO BUSINESS working with the public. When I finally asked what you shaking your head meant you told me the doctor left for the day, over an hour before your posted closing time.Had you of answered the phone this could have been prevented.Had you have had any reasonable excuse (like you were busy) I wouldn't have bothered writing this review.You should be ashamed of yourselves over there.

I think Dr.Tawadross is amazing and he’s a great family doctor who listens to his patients. I think the problem is with the staff not being able to handle the load of patients in an efficient matter. Booking appointments is important and many people block out their schedule for the appointment so when you end up having to wait almost 30+ mins for a 5 min appt, it’s frustrating, it’s really no one’s fault that there isn’t enough staff but there should be a system in place to make sure patients who have appts are seen in a timely manner. Whether it’s reducing the number of appts or making sure the patient knows the clinic is backed up so people can plan their schedule more efficiently.

Dr. Tawadross has been my family doctor for many years and I've been very satisfied with his service. The front desk can be a bit lousy but then you will see different people at front desk every few months. They should probably move to another place with a bigger waiting area and better facility.

The Doctors here are fantastic and i highly recommend them, but the receptionists are so frustrating. I needed to discuss some test results with my doctor and they told me i had to go into the clinic. I called two seperate days the week before my appointment because i had a conflict. The receptionist never called me back despite leaving a message both days. The day of my appointment we were getting a snow storm, i called and left a message at 830am asking if my 230pm appointment could be over the phone because of the weather. I called 21 times throughout the morning hoping i would get ahold of someone. By 130 they still had not gotten back to me. And i had to drive in a snow storm to my appointment only to meet with my doctor who informed me that she could have given me my results over the phone. I informed my doctor of the frustrating experience trying to get ahold of reception and even my dr was unimpressed. The medical staff is great! But the admin staff is a nightmare to deal with.
