Had a quest to turn my formerly long brown hair to denim blue. Amanda (Panda) made it happen. I was impressed with the professionalism, the consultation where I felt complete heard and seen, and the final results were even better than I had imagined. My hair was radiant, soft and perfect in colour. The cut was most excellent, with none of the pet peeves" I've encountered at other salons. From basic work to radical colour and styling

Had my hair done by Amanda who was absolutely amazing! We did all over head colour with a trim and style. Right out of the salon I had compliments on my hair! She was friendly and accommodating as were all the staff. I was offered a tea while we waited on the colour to process and felt right at home. The day later when I called to make one slight adjustment to the cut she fit me right in. Highly recommend any of the girls and will 100% be returning. Thank you!

From jumping around different salons over the years, this is my first time going back to Salon 55 in about 6 years, and the experience was awesome! Staff is very friendly, welcoming, and talented. The salon was clean and tidy! My hairstylist made me feel very comfortable and walked me through every step, as I was making quite the change to my hair. My hair looked exactly how I asked it to and I will for sure be going back! Highly recommended!

I love this salon! I had my bridal hair done here by Amanda and it was absolutely amazing! My mom and bridesmaids also got their hair styled and all looked gorgeous! I felt like a princess and got so many compliments. Professional, fun and breath taking work! Thanks ladies!

I have curly hair and made the stupid desicion to try bangs for the first time in early 2020. Terrible idea but it was finally starting to grow out so I went in to get them blended and I got one of the best haircuts ever! She made sure I was happy with it before I left but I didn't know how happy I'd be once it dried. Beautiful, voluminous, bouncy curls! Absolutely love it!

You can most often get a good quality cut for a cheep price if you walk in. Their colouring is usually good, but not necessarily worth the higher price that than a handful of other places. The staff is very friendly, but in the last few times i went, followed by the last visit with my mother-in-law, it seems they have gotten so popular that they have become a bit to casual and don't put the same importance on customer service that they used to. 2 hours for a scheduled basic cut, which resulted in more of a pixie cut than the requested simple bob-cut could, at a generous stretch be understandable. But no acknowledgement or apology of any sort by any staff or management, even when we mentioned it, was a low i do not wish to re-experience. Hopefully in the months since then it has improved, but for now I'll go elsewhere.
