Dropped in unexpectedly to speak to Claudelle about advertising and she very kindly took me up to her office where she gave me 5 minutes of her time even though she was meeting with others. I left happy with the information that I was not able to obtain via email communication. Older building and very large. I wish I could have spent more time exploring old newspapers.

No better than a common thief, can't even provide your customers with the service you offered them. But you are more than happy to take their money and yet you keep trying to offer me more weeks of a subscription that I know I won't get as I've only gotten 3 papers since March 8th .... I've had to call and complain to get a paper delivered which this was a third time but hey I got two more weeks of a paper you won't deliver anyways so... Yay.... Thanks for ripping me off

A once proud newspaper that is now little more than the Toronto Star with a few Hamilton stories. If you like the neo-progressive Toronto Star, you will probably enjoy the Spec. For the rest of us ...

I really enjoyed working at this place. THe building is enormous, thus, at first it is difficult to navigate but if you kindly as an employee they are nice enough to take you there themselves.

One of the best papers in Canada, and one of my personal favourites! Excellent reporting and journalism! Comprehensive and rarely biased! A strong and proud paper that's here to stay!

I attended the Green New Deal event. I was pretty much full. Really great that a business makes its facility open to the public for such public meetings to fuel democracy and intelligent discourse for its citizens.

Not sure how long papers are going to stay with us? We subscribe..usually read stories that I have seen online a day or two ago. New delivery guy can't get it straight. My spouse insists on continuing...my opinion; value questionable.

I can not believe this paper, today I purchased a paper at a variety store , when I got home there was no TV Guide in the paper. I contacted the store and asked him if any of the others Spectators had them in the rest of his papers, and he checked and there were none in the rest of his papers. So I called The Spectator the person on the line was very unhelpful, she said there was nothing that they can do because I purchased it in a store. Well I say for over 40 years we had been getting the paper delivered, however we had gotten a new driver, the driver threw the paper every where he wanted and he was always late deliverying it most of the time 8:30- 9 am, as I would read it for doing anything else. We had complained lots of times with the Spectator, and would know when the supervisor talked to him we get it really late or not all, we would called again, but it was never corrected after 40 years getting this paper , they didn't care. So we had no choice to cancea the paper, after 40 years as a devoted customer that didn't mean anything to them! Being a loyal customer to the spectator trying support local newspapers. My advice anyone subscribing or buying at a store think twice before you do as they only worry about their jobs and nothing else!

I wont drop my review stars because they couldn't afford me. They may not always hear people when I used to work for them thousands of people wanted the new print to be a larger font. However they have a quality customer service and understanding for the people who do complain to them on the phone 80% of the time and they offered me a kiosk job because they couldn't afford my previous position. I love their accommodation where even the contractors get a severance bonus. I am just not a retail sort of guy. I'll always love and miss the spec.

The Spec is clean and quiet. The staff is friendly and efficient. The work areas are clean and quiet. The receptionist was first rate and attentive. I was happy with everything.
