Ottawa Footy Sevens

Great place to play football (soccer). Premises are awesome and the staff is very polite / friendly.I will recommend if you are looking to have fun playing football and meet new people. Prices are ok.

Unprofessional staff referees officiating soccer games, they would not let me spectate do to a fight that happened a week ago that I was not a part of or even there. Referees are Niko and Chris they were racial profiling me and telling me that I’m unable to spectate because they suspect me causing some type of problem do to a pervious incident that before. I also felt targeted do to them picking out certain people to be able to watch the games which is unacceptable.If the owner says that no supporters/ spectators are allowed for that team. Then why did both referees pick certain individuals to still spectate for that team. There is no explanation for that, other then unfairness for the others. The owner needs to become more of an owner because his staff seem like they don’t follow what they are told probably.And the type of response I got from the owner without trying to hear both sides. It’s obvious your staff will act like they are in the right. But as an owner without hearing both sides shows what kinds of management and staff they are. It shows the unprofessional of service and it’s disgusting. Also owned by someone who is arrogant and doesn’t care about fixing a bad experience for someone.Would not recommend for anyone to go

I've been playing with footy sevens for over seven years, and I really have enjoyed playing in their coed and men's leagues. I really like that the organizers are very approachable and that they are quick to respond to any questions players may have. I also like their new field at Imaculata, I think it is a great investment for the soccer community in Ottawa!The only complaint I might have is that there are a couple refs who are very inconsistent in their calls, but overall most of the refs, who are hired by footysevens, do a good job at making tough calls.

My girlfriend and I met a bunch of our friends playing with footy sevens. Friendly refs and some of the best locations in the city. Might knock a half star for not having beer for players, but that's just me.

I would recommend Footy Sevens to everyone who enjoys soccer, being active, meeting friends, playing team sports etc...The organizers are all incredibly nice and organized.The refs are all very nice and professional.The league is very organized. You get to start on time and the game doesn't end early or have long breaks waiting for refs etc... like I've experienced with other leagues...you really get your full game time. I look forward to playing every week.I've met a lot of great people through playing and hope to start back up as soon as COVID allows.

Absolute beauty of an organization from top to bottom. The staff are friendly and supportive. The fields are the best available in Ottawa.

I've played with Footy Sevens for the past five years, and I find the league to be fun and professional. I've made many good friends, and I've enjoyed playing the game -- despite not playing youth soccer.The league has been responsive when necessary. I have found the refs to be quite fair and knowledgeable. I would recommend it to anyone who is new to Ottawa or someone who is out to burn calories.

Referees Nick and Chris. Displayed racial profiling, when only allowing certain people to spectate the game. The team was not inclusive.
