I had a Partscaster build I had stalled out on, mostly due to not being comfortable enough drilling and installing a new neck, among other things.I feel like Rod understood right away what I was going for with the build, because he was calling me a week later saying it was almost done!lots of work here - new nut, saddles, control plates, electronics, MOP pick-guard modified, locking tuners and neck, of course :)Thanks again Rod for an amazing custom frankenstein Tele!

It's hard to entrust a 45-year-old guitar you've owned since new to anybody, especially when it needs major surgery. Rod Jennings did not disappoint. In fact, Rod somehow managed to turn back time. After a neck reset, refretting, new nut and saddle and a bunch of other love, my Guild D25M sounds better than new, and I can hardly keep my hands off it. Rod knows his stuff, is a natural craftsman, and cares deeply about these instruments, and I'm thrilled to have found him.

Rod has fixed now 2 of my Taylor guitars, the first one years ago fixed a body crack and did a set up and I have loved it ever since. The second one last week and same thing, set up exactly how I like it and it is to perfection. Thank you Rod.

Rob did a wonderful job on my beloved Taylor. When I brought the guitar into him, I was experiencing a pick-up issue (after over ten years with no issues in the pick-up!). I was hesitant to get work done on the guitar since I really hadn't done major repair on it for over a decade. I also could not find a local Taylor repair shop in Huntsville, at the time. I was packing the guitar up to take to Toronto when I flippantly asked my partner to check one more time" for a Muskoka-based Taylor repair option and we came across Get Rhythm Guitarworks. Rob did an excellent job replacing my pick-up

My Friend and I needed some repairs done to our acoustic guitars a few years back and I must say Rod’s repair shop in the woods is a hidden gem of Ontario. Really friendly man and he does great work. He repaired my Alvarez acoustic by reattaching some bracing inside. He also dressed my frets and checked the rest. He provided a full report on the instrument and gave great advice for proper ongoing care. I was just looking up his number again so I can call him for more repairs when I saw he didn’t have too many reviews.If you have a guitar in need of repair or a tune up take it to Get Rhythm Guitarworks!

Rod is a personable, genuine and honest craftsman who delights in sharing knowledge with customers so that they can learn from the experience. He views a repair as a collaborative process to improve the guitar without any unnecessary recommendations. I am more than pleased with the work done to my instrument and would not hesitate to bring future jobs to his shop. I brought my guitar in for some fret leveling/dressing/crowning as well as a set-up but came away with much more. Thanks Rod!

Rod is the real deal. One of the nicest guys I've met in a very long time. He did an awesome job on setting up my acoustic and taught me many things about guitars as a bonus. He explained things very well, was meticulous in the work, and his price was very reasonable. I'm definitely coming back so he can set up my other guitars. Totally recommended!
