I would put a biz zero but there is not that option it’s the second time I buy something they send me in the lumber yard and they don’t have it so I need go back inside to get a refund that takes more time than the purchase… the staff is also not polite telling us it’s normal and go elsewhere if you are not happy

I went in for 3 things. Two of them were out of stock. Not a hardware employee in sight to ask about it. Took a while to find the empty shelves on my own. Their saving grace was the paint lady, who was eager to help, and the $2.00 moulding/trim bin.

This place seems to be okay except if you have to return a defective item. I went yesterday to return a defective smoke detector and they would not refund me. The person at the counter was very rude and arrogant. He did not even give me a chance to explain what the problem was. He took the unit and pressed the button and it made a sound. He threw the unit on the counter and told me it's working properly and would not refund it. When I finally got a chance to explain the problem - smoke detector will not trigger when a lot of smoke is present - he still would not refund my money. He said as far as he's concerned it works fine. After a lot of haggling I was finally able to exchange it for a more expensive one. This is the second time I had to return an item at the store. The first time it was a battery that was defective and they also did not want to refund me or exchange it. I will avoid the store and try to get my stuff at Walmart or Canadian Tire or another hardware store

I went in tonight around 1630 to return 2 small items I purchased by mistake. Cashier #002 at cash 1 w/ black hair was very rude and lied to me and my husband. I go in to return the items, to which i have all the proper receipts for and she goes Those aren't the right receipts

This place is just waiting for a Home Depot or a big Rona to open in Hawkesbury so they can go out of business. The store keeps bankers hours. Never seen a big box store close at 5pm before. Today I rolled in on a Saturday morning when the whole world is out buying supplies to get ready for winter and they have closed the entire store “for inventory. The one time I actually made it inside the store

It was well stocked and had what I wanted, I think for small projects, it's great when I asked for similar products at other stores they tried to make me buy whole sheets of 4x8 not there
