We had a wonderful stay at Gateway to the Medway. The campground was both spacious and scenic. We had a lovely site on the water with beautiful views.Our host Georgie ( the owner) was so kind and very accommodating. Great ice cream at the office!! He knows how to fill a cone. Please note: Gateway to the medway is in beautiful Nova Scotia, not to be confused with Gateway campground Wasaga Beach in Ontario

On a last minute road trip, my partner and I found ourselves in need of a place to stay.For an amazing price gateway campground welcomed us with open arms. We had river side camp site with access to clean and well kept washrooms and showers.We had an amazing time at karaoke night. And met some wonderful people.Not to mention we had the best view of the stars from the green grass hilltop.We will be back and I hope to see you there !

Beautiful camping sites right beside a small river . Not to crowded, and very quiet. Bathroom , shower and washing machine on site. Not to far from a community pool .

Beautiful spot for a newly opened campground. If you are looking for a walk in tenting by the river, drive in tenting by the river or boon docking in an RV this is the spot to be. Hard working owner trying to turn his beautiful land into a campground to be enjoyed by camping enthusiasts. Super friendly owner and fellow campers. Will return many more times and will enjoy seeing what Georgie builds!

Amazing campground! Stayed in the tenting sites down the hill by the river and woke up to an amazing view. Campsite was really spacious and had a picnic table and fire ring, as well as wood chips for the tent pad. There were a few porta potties (very clean!) To use, as well as a bathroom, shower and kitchen in the office for use.Owner was very friendly and stayed longer for our late arrival. Put coffee on in the morning for guests.10/10 would stay again.

It's a year round campground that seems to be under development , so stay posted as this campground has not matured yet . I'm sure it's only going to keep getting better . The owner lives on site , is super friendly and extremely helpful . There is cell service available . Communal washroom with attached shower . Outside wash table . We had a great couple night stay and look forward to seeing this place in the future. Caledonia is 5 ish mins away and has services , home hardware , NSLC , Pharmacy , food store w/ lotto . ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This campground is a must see! We decided on some last minute camping and it was incredibly easy to book a site online. The owner is such so kind and the staff are an absolute pleasure. All tent camping is right along the river with private or drive-in site options! Falling asleep to the croaking frogs and rolling rapids was definitely the highlight of our stay.

The campground is an excellent “Go To” place to camp. Very nice setting and relaxing with the river winding through the site.I was on Harley and tented there for 4 days and due to how large the grounds are, the sites are far enough apart for your own privacy.Georgie (who is the owner) is very friendly and will do anything to make your stay as best as it can be.Thanks for the great stay Georgie and wish you all the very best.

This year round camping area is well on it's way to being an amazing destination!Washroom and shower on site are super convenient for tenting. Go check it out!
