We are staying in a cottage in Point Clark, and decided to come and try the pizza... It was amazing! We had the Aloha pizza, the crust, tomato sauce and toppings were all so fresh and delicious. We will definitely make this a stop whenever were in the area! Definitely worth the drive! We will be letting our friends and family know about this gem.

We went to Port Albert Pub today Saturday June 25/22 and found a gem of a country pub and a gem of a waitress. Mallory made us feel very welcome! The food was delicious, very large portions and the beer was nice and cold on a very humid day. Thank you Port Albert General Store and Pub and Mallory. Bob and Nancy

Service and quality was amazing. Honestly, so hard to guess how good a local place will be in a small town but it was really incredible. Mallory, who I think is a manager(?) was engaging and attentive, checking in several times during my visit. Little things like that are so great and usually lacking in big chain places. Makes you really appreciate places like this.

Simply put - this is a hidden gem! From the delicious pizzas to the tempura battered white fish & chips to the smoked pork chop - food that Ian and Chris put out is delicious!!! Our server Mal, she was simply wonderful. Thank you all for making us feel like regulars even though we were only there for two nights. We can't wait to come back to the pub for more great times.

A word to the wise. The store/pub also has an AirBnB on-top. Do not stay here. We had to go almost 24 hours without power. The owner said it was our fault for plugging in 2 PROVIDED heaters. So apparently we were just supposed to freeze and not use any heat at all. A joke of a host/owner of an establishment. The host decided he would accomdate our $400 a night stay by providing us with a measly dinner compensation at his pub. Firewood here is $17.50 a bag, please look elsewhere as $5 a bag is the standard. Food is extremely expensive for what you get so pack your own stuff. Steer clear if possible, there is a very nice accommodating hotel just across the street.

Spent a week in Port Albert. Such a beautiful destination on Lake Huron. The lake is turquoise. Looks very tropical. This store has hot food available along with all the store essentials you need. If you're in Port Albert..... come by and support the general store.

Was really looking forward to dinner here as we heard the food was great from friends last summer. Unfortunately, the entire experience was terrible: long wait, received drink I didn't order but had to pay for, cauliflower bites came with 8 pieces that were all soggy, and all food was cold. On top of this, our chicken nachos were bland and served with turkey instead of chicken.I have never had such terrible food.
