Lion's Head Beach Motel

Our group came to Lion’s Head motel for Level 1 kayaking course with Kayak Ontario . The motel was so clean, specious with Full kitchenette. The owners and staff were fantastic. Very welcoming and helpful I loved it so mach that I am coming back in august with my family. The pricing is fantastic. Highly recommend place

The room had a front entry door and a back door that was a sliding door to enter to the back patio and look out to the beach area. The lock was broken, there was a piece of wood to place in the track as a locking mechanism. The bathroom had mold and not ventilation. One set of towels for 2 people. The sofa sunk down and squeaked when you sat on it. For curiosity I tried out the stove. Thank goodness we didn't need to use the stove because one burner did not work and the oven stunk like oil spilled in it and was never cleaned. Foil paper was at the bottom of it. Looked so unclean I didn't want to touch it! You remove your own garbage. Over 10 rules to follow. The only thing I enjoyed was the view!

The owner stayed late for our arrival, the place was spacious, beds comfortable, and views amazing! Will definitely return.

The stay was amazing. The room was clean and spacious as our requirement . The back of a room is lake and you can access that as a plus point.The amenities was sufficient enough. Thank you so much. We will definitely see Lion's head beach motel as our next tobermory stay for sure.

We had a great stay here! Wilfred was very welcoming and friendly when we checked in and had a few restaurant suggestions for us to check out for dinner. Our motel room was clean and spacious. It had a full kitchenette which is a rare find! It was nice to cook some basic meals with or heat up food. The view of the beach and proximity is fantastic! The prices were fair. Kayak rentals are free for guests. If it weren't snowing, I'd have definitely taken up on that offer! I'd love to come stay again given the opportunity. Sad to see it's for sale, I hope the new owners are just as lovely.

Our room was clean and comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. When we checked in, Wilfred said to let him know if we needed a baking sheet or anything else during our stay, but the room had everything we needed. We loved the location, and it was a perfect way to start the new year.

Are car fell in a ditch over Friday Dec 23, 2022 because of the storm in the area and we’re not able to get it out because of the weather. The OPP closed all the roads and we were stuck. The owners generously offered us a room in the motel and came picked us up despite the bad weather. The helped us secure some essentials for the day and helped us get some meals during our stay. They also helped us with getting our car situation resolved! The most generous people we’ve ever met.The place was remarkable and had everything we need to salvage our weekend. Great hosts and great people

I used couch...beds hurt my back. Was a bit buried for location...no cell signal...and wifi kept cutting out
