Sidney Whale Watching

Orion took us out. This was a great voyage. Glassy seas, sunshine, and Orion was very engaging and informative and friendly. We took the zodiac and it was very fast and smooth and comfy. Even if we hadn't seen whales it would have been a wonderful cruise through the islands seeing eagles, osprey, seals, islands, cliffs, porpoises, jellyfish, and herons. But we also followed two different pods of orcas with long viewing times. Orion was determined to get the best viewing. He gave us a fun ending with some scenic routes through the islands and some fun driving at the very end. We went on another tour with a different company from Victoria, and although you can't predict what the weather or animals will do, this was by far the best tour we did.

Had an awesome time with sidney whale watching today! We got spoiled with seeing multiple pods of transient orcas. They were playing, breaching, tail slapping and spy hopping! Our captain knew exactly where to find them which made for a great experience!

The captain was very friendly and knowledgeable. He coordinated with other boats to find some humpback whales which gave us quite a show. The incredible scenery of the area is also incredible. Highly recommended!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The smaller boat makes for a more intimate experience. The captain is a local and clearly loves the orca and the sea.

A must do activity for anyone visiting this gorgeous area. The guide was informative and the boat trip was great fun. I was glad we had a smooth day. We were lucky enough to see a large pod of about 28 orca and they really do take your breath away. Stunning.

I've lived on Vancouver Island for almost 30 years and have taken numerous whale watching tours, this is the first time that we actually seen any, and to make it better, we were following a humpback mom and calf, lots of fine and tail slapping, Capt. Orion definitely knows how to power a boat, was an awesome day for everyone on board

The tour was great. They make every effort in making sure you have a solid whale watching experience. Really appreciated the stops along the way for deals seals, sea lions and eagles.

Went whale watching with these fine people on September 10th 2018. We were super fortunate to see a a big family of killer whales very close to the boat. It was absolutely mind blowing!Kudos to Dave who's doing great job as a guide and a captain.Bring cash for the tip jar at the end, the crew deserves it!
