Vandehaar Flooring & Paint

Made a large purchase from this place and once things began going downhill, the owners would not take ownership for there errors. They don't provide good customer service- will not be returning.They have an I don't care" attitude when they make errors.Oddly enough I was in town and mentioned I had gotten flooring here and the people around who heard working at the store I was at told me they've also heard alot of bad things about this place.It's places like this that unfortunately ruin it for small business when your trying to support them."

My friend and I were greeted as soon as we arrived (#1 importance in my eyes) ... several attentive to us during our browsing. Karen King gave excellent customer service as well as 2 or 3 others. Felt like our visit was appreciated. Best was the fact we were able to bring home the 5x7 carpet sample for 3 days, to experience it in our home, seeing in the different lighting, day and night. Brilliant option! Very well managed store. Still have not decided on our purchase in this case, definitely will be back for future requirements. Thank you to all!

Poor customer service. I made a big purchase and bought vinyl flooring for our entire house minus one room. We had 6 boxes left over but they said they couldn't return because they didn't keep that kind in stock. That's understandable. So I was going to order 3 more boxes to do the last remaining bedroom just to use up what we had. Turns out they actually had 3 boxes in stock that another customer RETURNED. When I asked about this I was told that the other customer returned within 30 days which was why it was allowed. I then needed 2 more boards to complete the project. rather than order in another box which would take weeks I asked if I could buy boards from the open display box but was told they could not sell any to me as they were for samples only. When I said could I just have 2 sample boards I was told no, sample boards need to be returned. Which is odd because I was never told to return the sample I was originally given when picking out the floors. Long story short I would have been better off going to a big box store and paying less because I would likely have got the same service.

Worst customer experience I have ever had, I will NEVER BUY PAINT HERE EVER AGAIN. I bought 8 gallons of pain here a while back and was unable to use it until now. Painted one wall and opened up a new can only to notice it was a different color, I thought it was just me and started to paint the wall but realized it was a different tint. Checked all the cans and they all had same code numbers. I took the paint back to Vandehaar and the clerk told me I must have done something to the paint". I explained that the paint went from the store to my house then to the apartment I was painting

Excellent service, huge selection, helpful knowledgeable staff and great prices. You could not ask for anything better, all with small town hospitality and friendliness.

I just love Vandehaar Flooring and Paint. The staff are so friendly and professional. They are always eager to answer any of your questions and give a helping hand. We love to support local business and they are just the best to deal with.We took a stain match for our stairs we are turning into hardwood and they were diligent in coming up with 4 choices for us to choose from. Very close in colour to our existing hardwood floor.While we were there we had them price a runner for our stairs. We believe they were very fair in price compared to other carpet places.So please support your local business!!Can’t wait for our project to be complete.Thanks Vandehaar Flooring.

Staff were very kind and helpful. Listened to us and didn't push anything on us we didn't want. Had great advice and communication with fair prices. Highly recommend using them.

Great service from start to finish. They came out to my place within a few days to give me a quote and then a week later were able to come back and install carpet. The service person who came to my house was extremely courteous, professional, quick and helpful in regards to moving my furniture back into the room. Price was good as I was able to find something in stock that was very inexpensive.
