Our custom bench fits in perfectly with the design of our home. From design, to build, to pick up, the craftsmanship and service were excellent. The prices were reasonable considering they use solid maple and build to your specifications.

Amazing woodworker! Jospeh will work with you to make any custom furniture or cabinetry in a variety of styles, often starting from photos and ideas we brought to him. He recently completed an outdoor kitchen cabinet/counter for us and it is exactly as we planned. Prices are very reasonable for such good craftsmanship.

I can not say enough good things about Heimsu- RJ’s woodworking. I came in to the shop with measurements, some sketches, and measurements for the project I had planned. They offered great advice on design layout and the best cabinet options based on our space and requirements. We even received our cabinets earlier then our estimated date which was an added bonus. Quality was far superior to anything that you will get from a box store and way better value for your hard earned money. Also, even though we forgot to add all the spacers and trim pieces when we ordered they had included everything and a little bit extra in order to finish everything nicely. This made installation a breeze. I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looked for cabinetry or wood furniture this is the place.

RJ's made us custom cabinets from our own drawings and they were more than we could have wished for. The workmanship is great and the service friendly. Looking forward to a new kitchen soon!

Constant run around, Contradictive information.I’ve purchased 8 items of furniture from this place. Each time the process is annoying. I go in. Try to pick furniture, get numbers tossed around. Get told how “lucky I am” to get the price I have. Then have an issue with my furniture. Last time my 3600.00 Credenza and hutch didn’t have handles. I was told “we didn’t think you needed handles. I’m not even going to begin on how that doesn’t make any sense.The bed I purchase isn’t square and my side support rails are bowed. Some of my slats were cracked. I didn’t bother complaining about it, it doesn’t go anywhere.My 2500.00 live edge table isn’t true live edge and is just jointed table top with live edge sides. I wouldn’t of even been annoyed if they at least grain matched the boards.Why did I deal with them so many times? I guess I should just give up on thinking people value my business if I show how loyal I can beLast straw for me was asking to purchase lumber. I had my wife email them asking for available lumber and price per board foot. She was responded to“Hi Kaitlyn,Sorry that I didn't get you a price last week. We have Wormy Maple for $4/board foot, Clear Maple at $10/bd ft, and Walnut at $20/bd ft.”My wife forwarded the message to me and I replied to the email asking for general sizing for clear maple. This was the response I got.“ Your best bet is probably Thayer Lumber, we don't even carry clear maple.”I was literally told they have clear maple. When I challenged that the reply was Contradictive. I was told,“Sorry for the confusion.We're not a lumber dealer, if you'd like to come pick out some pieces of maple from what we do have that would be fine, they'd be random widths and we won't be able to supply any major projects, but you're welcome to come see what we have. ““Not a lumber dealer” yet hands out prices in board foot, it’s common knowledge in SSM that they sell lumber. Anyway. Not impressed. Apparently spending 10,000.00 in furniture isn’t enough to gain some respect and get some customer service. I won’t be returning.

Had an overall great experience and very pleased with the results of my new Island! I have and will continue to recommend to others.

Great workmanship and very professional. I had a corner table made to my specifications and it was exactly what I wanted. I have since ordered two more end tables from Joseph. I would not hesitate to order more custom made furniture in the future.
