The Pine and Picket - Nanaimo Bed and Breakfast | The Pine and Picket Bed and Breakfast is one of the best B&Bs in Nanaimo, B.C.. We are just a short walk from the Departure Bay Ferry Terminal with incredible views of Departure Bay and Newcastle Channel. There are two beautifully appointed rooms with private en suite bathrooms and sundecks overlooking the waterfront. We are very close to kayak rentals and seaplanes and there is additional garden cottage for more independent travelers. Your host is a qualified French Chef !!

A charming and quaint B&B run by a lovely couple. The rooms are homely and well furnished. Good, free, wifi and a well equipped communal area. Our room had a balcony overlooking the port and marina which was very tranquil in the evening. Unfortunately we had to be up and leave very early so didn't get to experience the breakfast however the hosts were very accommodating and made us up a breakfast to take with us on our journey. The only negative was that we couldn't stay longer! Would definitely revisit.
