OP Trust has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The lack of transparency with this company is so unsettling. When I contact them to ask specific details re my pension, they simply tell me to refer to a page of their guide instead of actually providing me the specific information I'm looking for.When OP Trust offered our company a second information session on-line, we couldn't even see who in our company was present during the session. If our staff had questions, OP Trust staff said we had to type the questions for them. We couldn't actually see or hear the questions of other coworkers. Instead, OP Trust staff read only the questions they wanted to answer. When I addressed concern about how some of the information provided was different from the first session we had with a different OP Trust staff, the speaker refused to read my concern and no one could see what I wrote.For me, this company is not transparent and I'm concerned about the headaches we'll have when we retire and need to access our pension. I would never have voted to have an OP Trust pension had I known this is how they operate. Completely unacceptable in this day and age.

I applied for a death benefit 5 weeks ago on July 6th. I just called Optrust to find out all they have done is discontinue payments to the deceased. The death benefit has not been processed and they could not tell me when it would be - just soon". This sort of thing is usually processed in 2-3 weeks
