I’ve held this horrible experience inside, because I’ve felt it was too awful for others to hear. Today, I feel it is time to share. One of my best friends, a wonderful cat named Frankee, became sick with cancer. He was 16. He came to live with us at age 2 yrs at the request of an acquaintance, who had been caring for him. He had gone missing, and five days later returned. He had been scalded on his rear side. After 5 days in hospital we adopted him. He came to trust us, but not people he didn’t know.I loved Frankee. When it came time to euthanize him it was urgent. The vet administered the medication and left us there. But he didn’t go unconscious. I kept saying nice things to him. He was agitated and licking his lower front leg. He never went unconscious. I didn’t want to leave him on the table and leave the room to get help. It went on and on. Must have been at least 10 minutes. She finally came in. Said something about muscle mass, I’m not sure. She gave him more medication and then said his heart had stopped and walked out. I was overwhelmed with grief. Sorry everyone. I’m still upset.

Very friendly and informative, and answered all my questions. They were very sweet to my Ozzy, which I loved. They offer quotes which I appreciate very much, as well as letting you know what treatments are absolutely necessary or can have an eye kept on them. I recommend them to all my friends and fellow fur baby parents!!

Amazing and friendly staff. My little puppy is easily scared and nervous and they go above and beyond to make sure he is comfortable. They put my mind at ease whenever I get paranoid about the little things, never making me feel like I was being stupid or annoying with my many questions and concerns. They are very compassionate and really took the time to make sure that I was worry free and that my puppy was happy and healthy!

Our vet for many years, looking after our dog and cats. Professionals and also pet lovers, absolutely top notch care for our pets. Emergencies, surgery, annual checks ups and compassionate care by Woodridge staff for our pets all get five stars.

This is hands down the best clinic we’ve been to. They treat each of our animals so well and keep them as comfortable as possible at all times, our dogs even get excited to go in! They aren’t like other places that talk you into things that just aren’t necessary for your animals and they don't continue to press if you say no.

I've thought long and hard for a couple weeks now about posting this review. I don't mean to do this in a malicious way, but to save someone else from having the experience I did. My cat was very sick due to a blockage. I was certain there was a blockage and even told the vet what it was. The vet was sure there was no blockage and sent us on our way with medicine. After a week of being sick and a few days since our last vet visit, he got even more sick so I brought him back. They did more testing and advised me to rush him to the animal hospital where he needed emergency surgery due to the blockage that I knew was there all along. Not only was this an expensive experience, but it was very traumatic for both myself and my cat. Please take this into consideration if taking your animal to this vet for a serious concern.

It's taken me over 2 months to write this review but I would like to say thank you to the vets here for taking care of our lab Charlie over her lifetime. She was very fond of all of you (and the treats) and we trusted you when we made decisions for our girl. Thank you that even in the last week of her life, you gave us options and treated me with compassion and kindness in offering them with costs, risks and other determining factors up front. Charlie is greatly missed but I'm very thankful that she never was afraid to go to the vet and felt very excited every time we went.
