Kingsway Christian Children's Center

I did not attend with my child but to let parents know the fees here for preschool are a great deal higher then the equal service around it in the community. I wonder why it is as much as 100 a month more than other places of the same value. Consider this if you are struggling to achieve the fees. I feel sad for the burden to people if they are not knowing what is normal.

Both my children attended this daycare, both had great experiences with the staff. I found the staff to be knowledgeable and fun. The kids do lots of arts and crafts. Fun day trips out in the summer and tons of fun activities at the daycare center. The staff communicate well with the parents and I found the fees to be reasonable compared to other daycares in Burnaby. Can't say enough good things about this daycare! So thankful that I was able to find this gem and my kids enjoyed attending each day!

It is a shame there are so few authentic reviews on this excellent daycare & children's centre. Both of my kids come here and my son started in daycare then transitioned seamlessly to before/after school care. Both of my kids thrive at this place and they love it! The staff are happy and great with kids. Everyone really cares for the children and the kids are happy. Management is open to communication and highly responsive. Strongly recommend this place to parents who are looking for quality childcare in the Burnaby/East Vancouver area.

It is terrible daycare, they are not open to dialogue.

My son is being diagnosed with autism. We were told to keep him as calm as possible so he would stop hurting himself. They said no problem we will work with you. They have taken away all of his security blankets (blanket, stuffy, toy) and now have said he is not allowed to wear sunglasses.

Teaching staff is great. Their planned day to day scheduled helped my kids to adjust, play and share in group setting. Lots of kids activity and field trips to build confidence in young kids. My kid simply loves going preschool every morning.

I went to this Daycare when I was in 1st - 2nd grade. the staff were very strict and would force feed me to eat veggies that I hate since they believe that no food goes to a waste.(they had been known to shove food down through my mouth when I resisted too!) Thus if I didn't finish my vegetables they wouldn't let me be excused from my table and make me stay there until my mom comes and pick me up. since I was autistic, they would put me in a time out if I was caught talking too loudly again until my mom comes. they would also grab my wrist very tightly when scolding me for misbehaving, I mean they shouldn't be touching or grabbing kids in a aggressive way!!! One time I threw up after being forced to eat veggies and they forced me to clean the floor with paper towels instead of using a mop. During field trips they would make random kids go to the washroom sometimes in opposite gender( boys go to Women's washroom too) to prevent crowding, I remember I was forced to go to the men's washroom even I said I wasn't comfortable.

I really want to thank all the staff. They are really hardworking and have caring nature. I remember on the first day my son was so shy and didn't want to go but later even on Saturday's he always ask mommy there is no school today.There summer program is really amazing because they take children everyday to different places and parks. My son really enjoyed going over there.Once again Thanks a lot for taking care of my son.
