Grandview Motel

Overall, I really enjoyed this stay and would book again. Service was great, the spot was perfect…walking distance from most things. Quality linens, comfortable bed, good quality towels, and the wifi worked well. We just had a couple of minor issues that I think would be really easy fixes. First, it seemed like the rooms maybe were recently renovated- they’re really cute and homey. But our door wasn’t quite fitted well enough to use the deadbolt, which I would have preferred. The area is super safe with that being said. Also, a small curtain for the small window on the bedroom would have been nice to keep the early morning light out. Finally, this isn’t the fault of the hotel, but a heads up would have gone a long way. There were fireworks kind of late at night (after 10 pm) when we were trying to sleep. It sounded like they were going off right outside our door. It scared us. Other hotels close by probably experienced the same thing, but for far out of towners like ourselves, a warning would have been appreciated! Overall, highly recommend this spot and would stay again.

Perfect! Small motel with great location with incredible views from the deck. We stayed 2 nights and watched the sunset both nights. We also had a great view of the ferry loading and unloading. (Blanket in room was a nice touch for the cool evening on the couch on the deck). Rooms are bright and clean. Bed was comfortable. Loved the heated floor in the bathroom since it was May! Coffee, ice machine and microwave in the office were used and very convenient. We didn’t use the bbq but another family did.In front of the motel is a water access deck for diving with a bulletin board showing what wrecks were there.I would recommend this place to others.

I booked a room with King bed (Lake view). Lake view was not a big deal, but room was very spacious and clean. It had a small fridge, TV, three chairs and an ottoman. The best part was, the door opens to good size deck with outdoor furniture. Excellent for dinner or morning tea. There were 3-4 such areas throughout the property with BBQs. Breakfast, fish & chips, LCBO, and cruises all at a walking distance. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Love the place.

Nice location on waterRooms a newly made and clean.Nice potio on water. overseeing sunset while doing BBQ is amazing experience.Few restaurants are around the corner.Room is equipped with fridge, bed, TV, Tblae and chairs. Microwave, 24hours coffee and ice maker in the office.They have two EV chargers, I could charge my Tesla Y at the speed of 60 KM per hour for free.10 mins walk to the toberbory ferryGood place book in advance

Spent 2 nights at Grandview Motel.We arrived before checkin time and they were able to give us our rooms before time!The room was neat and tidy however the bathroom was small and the shower very tiny. That is probably the only negative feedback.They have an office space stacked with tea/coffee for self serve and the staff was friendly.The best part of this stay was the view from the deck which was stunning. Best place to watch the sunset.Did not take pics of the room but here are some pics of the deck view :)

Great small motel with clean rooms. Very friendly staff. James greeted us with a ready room, eventhough we were quite early than the check-in time. Small room was equipped with all the things one would need. Air conditioning, heater, mini fridge, a table with 2 chairs. Clean and soft bed sheets. I think one should visit the place. Location walking distance from the harbor and restaurants. Enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend.

Went back in 2021 august, beautiful place, deck has a lovely harbour view. Close to lovely harbour. So relaxing, friendly staff, morning coffee provided and ice machine. Loved it

Beautiful location as waterfront, nice clean cozy rooms equipped with basic supplies like clean towels, soap, shampoo, sanitizer, decent screen size flat screen TV, small fridge and kind size bed. Ample parking right in front of room, small office with microwave, self serve coffee machine and basic cutlery if one needs. Free coffee, WiFi and open water front sit out to have small group gathering with BBQ facility. The check in was easy, efficient but one needs to book online to avoid disappointment as motel is busy being in perfect location in Tobermory. Easily walk-in distance to enjoy local eatery and walk to catch the ferry to flower pot island. There is also facility to charge EVs. I would highly recommend to stay here though it says motel but it's like decent hotel.

Beautiful place lovely people. You can not go wrong in anything ....just had best experience. One of the best motel ever visited
