Avis Car Rental

If you're in Calgary and need a car rental this is definitely the place you need to go! I booked a last minute trip and was in need of a car. Vas was a great help, he is friendly, and provided excellent customer service. The car I was given had everything one could have wanted and more. It was safe, clean and the price was phenomenal! I highly recommend this location and will definitely use them again!

A client asked me to pick them up in this location, because he/she was dropping off a rental car and go to there next destination. Since the place is full and no parking, the only available parking spot was there parking space that says ‘Avis rental parking car only’ I assumed that the client was supposed to park the car there when he/she gets there. When I parked there, the employee or manager came out and told me that his customer is gonna be there soon, I told him that customer of his is my client to pick up. And then after he talked to me, he was saying something behind my back as he turned around ang go back inside this company. If you have something say, I more than welcome to hear it and I’m more than happy to move for you if you just ask nicely and not talk behind my back. For next time do better for other people. Thank you

Was here 3 weeks ago visiting from Toronto and the employee was so wonderful and helpful!He rented us a KIA last minute and we couldn't be happier with the car, price and beyond exceptional customer service.AVIS is awesome!

Vasanth was very professional and helpful during my rental.When I travel to Calgary I will rent from that location.

Recently I dropped the rental vehicle in this location and the location was closed when it was dropped, next morning they called and said there is a rock chip damage on the passenger windshield which is very hard to believe. I was pretty sure there was no damage when i dropped the car, if it was there i would have definitely noticed it. My recommendation to everyone is to not drop the car when the location is closed, which is the service they provide to take advantages like this. It is better to make sure the car is okay in front of us rather than someone look at it without your presence.

Awful customer service!! Reserved a compact car and when I got there they offered me a mini van which I did not want. Instead of providing options he just argued back! He lied and said all compact cars are sold out the weekend I went. I took the mini van and called another location and was able to get it switched. He did not apologize once and was very arrogant. Avis is not a bad company it's the employees at this location who will make your experience awful. Do not recommend

Walked in without a reservation and was greeted promptly. Super friendly staff helped get me in a short term rental for a good rate.

I was told to call a day ahead to request for winter tires for my vacation from multiple locations. I pre-paid for my reservations and they said they don't have any winter tires so I said we'll just take the standard. They then proceed to tell me they DONT HAVE cars to give at that location. They sent me to another location. I was suppose to pick up at 10am but didn't get a car until 12pm."

Rented a vehicle a while back from these scam artists. They tried to charge me for damage on the vehicle that was already there when I rented it. Vehicle was so banged up before I rented it was hard to account for it all. I would strongly advise against anyone dealing with these people

This place is a scam,Brought the car in and they told me they are charging me 700 dollars for a “crack in the windshield”. I’m positive the crack was there when I got the car and when asked for a simple picture of the car before they say they never take pictures. It’s their word only....I was never offered insurance when picking up the vehicle which makes me believe this isn’t the first time they have done this.Long story short don’t be surprised if you get charged 700 bucks for something they charged the previous customer for.
