My kids love the school! I hope to take adult courses once our youngest in class. They have an amazing year of year production.

Our kids have attended this school since they were old enough to go to Pre-Kinder. They both really enjoy themselves. I'm grateful they have the opportunity to practice Spanish in a supportive and diverse community. The grade one teacher has done a fantastic job of helping our son make real progress in reading and writing. The school is possible because of the dedication of volunteers. Bravo!

I have been going to his school since I was in pre-kinder and I have been going to this school for nine years now. All the teachers and staff are really nice. Every week I learn something new and I get taught a lot. I have been in dance since grade 3 and it's my favourite part of the day.

Love the school - we've been going for years and have seen kids come and go. The best part is the immersion in the different culture via dance or music. Our kids have increased their speaking skills in Spanish and are trying master their writing.I believe for the price and availability, I would recommend this school to anyone interested in learning as an adult or bringing their children.

We attended this school for prekindergarten 2016-2017. This has been a very poor experience for our family. We thought it would be a great experience for our son to learn Spanish and thought that the experience and level of professionalism of the staff at this school would be similar to what we have experienced at other schools. The teacher assistant in this class does not have any credentials or experience in being around kids of this age. She is physically and verbally rough with the children and has gone as far as to ignore our son just because I expressed concern that my son had come home crying after she had spoken to him in a very rough manner just because he couldn't hold his scissors properly. I asked the teacher if I could stay in the class one day and when I tried to be beside my son during craft time, I was told in a very rude manner by the assistant to the teacher that I could not interact with my five year old son!!! When I asked why she just left the class and did not return leaving the teacher alone to deal with the class. The children were left unsupervised when the Teacher had to take a child to the bathroom. The assistant is moody, irrational, unprofessional and does not have the children's best interest at heart. I simply would not trust her alone with my son. I brought all of this to the attention of the school administration and they did not do anything to remedy the problem. The administrator started the meeting by asking how many children I had. I guess if I had more children he would be more open to addressing my concerns. He also asked if I knew the assistant from before as if to say that I had a personal issue with this person in the past. He was totally biased and could care less about our family experience with this school due to a very nasty woman under his employment. As far as what my son has learned this year, it has been minimal Spanish. They are more concerned with having the kids learn some silly routine for their Latin Elements show and relying heavily on putting the kids in front of the screen to watch a video without any supervision. I was in the room when this happened. One can only imagine what goes on when there are no parents present.I'm very disappointed with the whole experience with this school and will not recommend this school to anyone. I will continue to express this negative review as much as possible to discourage parents from choosing this school. We are going to continue with having our son learn Spanish, but in an appropriate school where the staff are certified to teach and be around children.

My son is attending the pre-kinder class (2018/2019) and he really enjoys it. Over the past few months I have really seen him blossom. He was apprehensive about starting pre-kinder, but now he loves it. He especially likes the music, dancing and crafts. I feel that he this class is preparing him very well for kindergarten. His teachers are kind and caring. I plan on also enrolling my younger son next year.

The school is very family oriented and encourages students of all ages. The large cafeteria area provides space for cultural activities to take place whether it be signing by young children’s choirs or celebrations for such events as Dia De Los Muertos.I have been taking Spanish at the school since September of 2017 and will be starting Level 3 next week. My instructor is very well prepared for each class. She provides a wide variety of material to assist in covering the topics for each class including exercises to be completed in the textbook, video presentations, games and lots of in-class participation. Every student is encouraged to participate and there are lots of opportunities to ask questions. Also in almost every class there is time set aside to learn Spanish songs. I find the level of instruction sufficient for my level of comprehension: I am constantly challenged to keep up with the material being covered. Students are also encouraged to do whatever they can on their own to improve. The school has been a very positive influence in making learning a language (Spanish) fun.Muchas gracias!Dave L.

My daughter has been going to this school for 3 years. She'll be going into Grade 4 in the fall. The staff and volunteers are super supportive and the diversity of the countries and cultures represented make it a truly unique experience. There is a lot of focus on the Latin Elements show as it is the largest fundraiser of the year, however, it is also the children's best opportunity to showcase what they have learned in dance and music. We've had an excellent experience as a family!
