Ben and the Rebicycle team get 5 stars without a doubt!I was looking for a good city bike but couldn't find anything to my liking that wasn't sub of $1000.Took an appointment online with the team, showed up and Ben helped me build a bike that was everything I wanted and more. He really took the time to explain what each part did, I tried on different handlebars, got to pick the vintage frame I wanted, etc. Super great service. I walked out of there excited about my bike.3 weeks later, the bike was in my hands. I've been riding it around Montreal for about a month now and I absolutely love it.If you're looking for an affordable customized bike, look no further.

I enjoyed the experience very much; Ben was super attentive and efficient. The bike is gorgeous and very comfortable. I've also been told by my cyclist friends that the quality of the components is excellent.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect going into a video call with the owner, but at the other end of it I have a great road bike. Light and slender frame, choice of shifters, wheels/tires, handle bars, through and through. I've been riding everywhere as much as I can since getting it, it's pretty much everything I wanted in a bike. Definitely worth waiting a couple weeks.

Excellent service at a good price. I brought my old road cycle in to refurbish and they gave it back better than I've ever had it. Between the new parts they ordered/installed, and the fresh paint job, I was able to get what feels like a brand new bike for under $500

Despite it being one of the busiest summers for bike shops, Ben and his team built me a customized bike and provided excellent service.If you are environmentally conscious and want to invest in a long-lasting bike, local businesses, and a perfect fit, this is the place to go.

When I was shopping around for a new bike I wanted something unique, not just another bike from one of the big brands. Luckily I came across Ben and his team at Rebicycle. Ben hooked me up with an awesome vintage bike that performs like a brand new, top of the line road bike. He worked with me every step of the way, answering my ridiculous questions and making sure I was getting the parts I needed. Being that Rebicycle is located in Montreal and I in Toronto, Ben virtually fit my bike to me and he was spot on. Honest prices and a very cool concept!

Not the best customer service. Communication skills sorely lacking. I asked for a quote on painting a bike. They give me one. I ask if they will do the rear suspension. They state they will need to adjust the quote. They ask for a picture of the bicycle. Picture was sent. No new quote. Still being ignored.Update 2020/08/23: Apparently it takes a week and a half to get a price quote. Then they have the audacity to ask for the negative review to be removed. Specifically, to remove the review in exchange for service. I had reached out to two other places, both of which were able to reply the next day. Rebicycle needs 11 days to update a quote. They do not seem to understand that customer service extends to potential customers, not only people who have already paid them.

I’m not paid to say this but I don’t think 5 stars is enough to rate how good my experience was. I had paint job done on a old Devinci bike and a change of tires. A virtual appointment to evaluate the cost was done with Ben after that I took the bike that had also other issues with the brakes. After a Month and half the bike was unrecognizable the paint job was spotless the set up and the brakes fixed and through out the process Ben was always in touch to make sure I’m satisfied with everything.If you want a bike fixed or restored by really passionate people Rebicycle is the place you need to go to.

Rebicycle will make you the best damn bike you'll ever own. Period.I got mine in April 2017, and I spent the entire summer and part of fall riding it through the city. Most of the time you'll find me along the Lachine canal. I wanted to wait til I had ridden my bike for a while before writing this review, and I can now safely say it is MAGNIFICENT.In terms of customer service, the gang at Rebicycle is incredible. Ben took my first appointment, and met with me at the Rebicycle office. He asked me what type of bike I wanted, and then gave me options: how many gears do you want? internal or external? what type of handlebar? what type of tire? etcAnytime I didn't know what he was talking about, he showed me a couple of models and explained the pros and cons. By the end of our session, I knew more about bikes than if I had spent hours googling. He also had a bunch of test models that he had me ride to gauge the height and width of the frame that would best suit my body.When we were done, I had chosen the perfect bike for me. He called me a few months later when it was ready, and I went to pick it up. It was glorious. 7 gears internal, moustache handlebar, sexy purple color, city tires. Before he gave me the bike, he took the time to give me maintenance tips, and explained how to care for it so it would last forever.He also noticed I had a crappy lock, and recommended I pick up a better one. He then explained the psychology of bike thieves to me, showed me the best way to lock up a bike, and told me I could pick up an excellent lock down the street, which I did, along with a chain.I think you get the idea. He goes the extra mile for everything, and really takes the time to do things right so you're happy.If you're reading this, go book an appointment ASAP. The bikes they make are AWESOME.
