Firefly Circus Academy

After trying the intro to aerial arts class at Firefly out of curiosity I was almost immediately hooked, and 3 years later that hasn't changed. The instructors are kind and patient, and take the safety of everyone walking through the doors incredibly serious. The effort that is put into teaching students the proper way of doing things in a friendly and supportive environment is unmatched. I would recommend Firefly to anybody in the Edmonton area curious in trying aerial arts.

I've been a student at Firefly for many years. Firefly is dedicated to providing the safest training space available for its students. Aside from extensive rigging safety measures, conditioning is incorporated into every class ensuring students are physically ready to attempt more challenging moves. I have always felt extremely safe training at Firefly.

Firefly is my favourite place to learn aerials. Steph is a great instructor, and friendly to boot. I have spent over a decade at this location and I wish I could spend more.

WOW! Highly recommend hiring the firefly crew for your next event. We were in awe, the crowd was in awe, everyone absolutely loved the talented aerialists who made our NYE wedding so very special. If you want some wow factor at your party, do not hesitate to give them a call.

My daughter loves attending class. It's such a unique experience for her to learn on the trapeze and silks. It keeps her active and the instructors have always been great and encouraging. She looks forward to class everytime and I have been very happy with the clear communication we get regarding what to expect. Even with COVID, all protocols were laid out very clearly and we were all put at ease knowing what to expect.

I have been attending Firefly for the past 7 years. They have many different apparatus to choose from, friendly and knowledgeable staff with an emphasis on safety. There is a performance opportunity at the end of the school year that has always been really fun to participate in. They bring in different teachers for workshops from time to time and during the summer, the classes are more varied. Open gym is a great time to work on skills you have learned. You can book a private or semi private class to work with a teacher on something different. I have always found fellow students to be encouraging and positive. I highly recommend this facility for circus instruction!

I started training at Firefly 6 years ago and have considered it home ever since! I have continually felt challenged in every class while also being able to succeed at things I never thought I’d be able to do!The atmosphere is one of community and support and it’s the reason I’ve stayed for so long, the other being their continued commitment to safety and awareness. I’ve never once felt unsafe in a class.Thanks Firefly! You’re never getting rid of me haha

This is the second time I have booked Firefly for an outdoor event. They are amazing to watch and also are great with the crowd. Even when it was raining and windy the performers did what they could to keep the crowd engaged. I would highly recommend this company to anyone! And a special shout out to Stephanie. She is always professional when answering questions and staying in touch through the booking process.
