St Vincent De Paul Society Store

This is a thrift store run by a charity. Donations of clothing, shoes and small housewares are gratefully accepted. The prices are quite reasonable, generally better than at the larger thrift stores. They have a small basket of items that are free. It's a small shop, so the selection is limited. I have found the occasional antique or vintage collectible at amazingly low prices, but you need to check in often to discover a treasure. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Oh my, $1.00 tops when I visited, the cleanest 2nd hand pot with lid I've ever found at a thrift store, nightgowns at reasonable prices and the nicest staff. Can't wait to go back! It's a gem.

I'm homeless and I went and got a voucher from start me up. I went to get a blanket and I couldn't even get a used blanket for $15. They said 25 firm and I cannot put it on my voucher. You know how many homeless people go in there and are looking for a blanket or clothing and they can't even get a outfit with $15. This is the most expensive Christian thrift shop I have ever been to .. how can they put FIRM when they got it donated.

This is the best second hand store in St. Catharines. It's tiny, but they have great stuff for good prices. It's an especially good places to buy kid clothes if you have a small income. I don't have kids but I'm pretty sure the kids clothes are like 50 cents a piece or something.

The generosity of St. Vincent de Paul cannot be matched or exceeded by any other HELPING' agency....aside from Start Me Up...The staff are amazing and the selection of items a treasure troveThank-you....."

This store was my go to for great little finds. The staff always pleasant and on many occasions I was privy to staff assisting customers with things like new clothing, bedding, and other household items. I love a good deal and St.Vincent was a place where 10 $ could go far. Unfortunately that is no longer the case. Recently it has been under new management and the pricing has raised 10$ will maybe get you a oair of pants and a t-shirt not long sleeved because that would go over the 10$. They do not make any price dealings/negotiations. Now keep in mind this store gets its merchandise by way of donation from people in our community and or local businesses. 2 separate occasions When I was trying to get my shop on as I walked to the register I had these wooden stands usually they're for holding a 5/7 or 8/10 size photos on a table I was going to use them for Our Ipads as a stand when viewing videos anyways the manager " (unaware at time) approaches me and says "oh no hunny

Smaller thrift store. volunteers are nice people. have different varieties items prices are good.Always fine something I want or something i can buy for some else.

I love this place, it's fun to browse around and find some terrific treasures! I have found some interesting things and many great clothes that actually fit me me! You never know what you will find here!

They have very nice and helpful staff...not to mention, you can never beat their dollar sales! Clean atmosphere and I will return for sure. They have excellent greating cards brand new and all unique for a quarter per card! That's up my alley...not to mention a card for any and every reason one would purchase a greeting card...please when you check out their store, please bring plastic bags to donate if possible, they always need them...

Good place to buy 2nd hand clothing and kitchen utensils, cooking appliances and all sorts of household items. Everything is selling for rock bottom prices.
