Coxheath Hills Trailhead
I had an opportunity to hike the Coxheath hills with my friends. We reach there by evening from sydney.Trail start by a steep climb up to the mountain. The whole path is covered by snow and water. There is a marvelous waterfall on the way and we can enjoy the peace in the bench there. When we reach the top we can watch the sky and the city.Keep going and you will find a pitman cabin. This is the most amazing thing about the trail. There are 3 trails to reach the cabin. If you pre book the cabin you can spent the night there and explore the peace and wilderness. Its takes 2.44 km to reach the top.The trail is suitable for all with crushed stone and wide path. This is an beautiful place to hiking.

Whoa what a work out! And that was just the first 500 metres - straight up LOL. You can see for miles and miles from the top. The Western loop is very quiet and takes you through beautiful forest paths.

The first time we've done this and honestly it is one of the best trails but one of the hardest trails we've done.I really did have trouble at parts but there was a nice view. I was expecting more from the view to be honest with you. I enjoyed the hike up though. It does level off after about ten minutes or twenty minutes you will have an easier time after that.I really and truly felt accomplished after doing this trail. Wonderful day and an even grater time. The door is normally open in the cabin if you do that main trail. We didn't do the western loop trail, but it's five k and really seemed nice, but we didn't have time.

A great hike some harder then others and wear proper shoes and some bug spray, it's a beautiful view at the top and the little cabin is nice for a rest or make a meal or if you call and set it up stay the night there we saw a quail and didn't get to see any others but some do see some that's why they give walking sticks at the entrances but make sure to leave them there when you are done 10/10 hard hike but we'll worth it

Awesome hike! Not for the faint of heart (tough beginning); but doable after the 1st 15 mins. Amazing vista views...

We all really enjoyed our hike! The first 15 mins were a real workout! We were impressed by all the plants etc. We saw red, orange, brown, white and yellow big and little mushrooms! Ripe raspberries and blueberries. A variety of flowers. And the way some of the trees were growing was amazing! It's worth the hike!PS. We went in August.

Not a review but a FYI, I went on June 3rd 2023 and the trail was closed, main and secondary entrances. I drove 1/2hr to find that out. I am posting to hopefully save somebody else’s time. Hopefully it is open my next time out here.
