An amazing spot for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. We went up here from St.Thomas looking for a snowshoeing place and stumbled upon Circle R online. We were first timers and Susan made sure we were comfortable and well informed. All in all a fun experience on a beautiful winter day. Would definitely return.PS. They have 41 horses and they are lovely!

Being as though this was like 10+ years back, I’m sure it’s gotten better with the amount of reviews I see.I just wanted to explain my experience here. I came here for a birthday party and being as though I was a little bigger at the age of 11 or 12, I wasn’t more than 150. Probably less, don’t truly know.They ended up giving me a very large male horse and telling me I had to stay back from everyone else due to them all having females.I was in the back of the line, and everyone was out ahead of me. Of course, this horse being way too big for me, I couldn’t control it in the slightest. My kicks were not hard enough to move him at all and my instructor at the time definitely was annoyed by this because he kept yelling at me for it, telling me to just kick him harder; I couldn’t.I haven’t ridden a horse since and I think about this interaction a lot due to the nature of just being the bigger kid among my friends and being stuck with a horse I couldn’t ride properly. Along with the instructor, him yelling at me and feeling left out due to not being able to hear anything he was saying.

I’ve been going my whole life, and I look forward to it more than anything in the past ever. Staff and horses are always positive and happy. Great skiing. Great riding and riding instructors Circle R is easily the best summer camp in south western Ontario, and really is like stepping into the countryside, even when it’s so close to the city.

Thank you for such a wonderful experience. The staff was so friendly. The trails are beautiful and the horses are just amazing. What a wonderful morning we enjoyed. Thank you again! We will be back for sure :)

just an absolutely incredible outdoors facility with amazingly friendly staff. have attended many kid's birthday parties and school field trips with my little ones, and they LOVE the summer camps.

Good times. Wish you could take your kids further than the stables area. But the kids will love it anyways

A bunch my girlfriends brought me here for my birthday. Having never been on a horse, it was so fun! I would love to come back to do the more advanced trail.And the staff were so so SO lovely!
