Just want to take this time to say thank you to Matthew Mariella. I truly enjoyed the professional experience I had on Matthew's charters. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He was able to make our experience even more enjoyable with the way he runs his charters, not only did he show us the tips and tricks to successfully catch fish but also how to operate the boat like a true captain. He was able to answer all our questions with confidence. I will most definitely be attending more future charters with Matthew and strongly and highly recommend LUCKY LEFTY FISHING CHARTERS.

I have to say, I've had an unreal experience with Lucky Left Fishing. I expected just a regular charter with not much enthusiasm or engagement with the customer. I got the total opposite! Captain Matt was amazing, he went above and beyond what I expected from the fishing experience. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped me along every step of the way being a first timer out there trying to get into the fishing world. Which resulted me in going on a total of 4 trips so far. To elaborate, he showed me important methods, techniques and gave me great detailed explanation on why. I learnt a lot! He was more than just a teacher, he also knew how to have a good time and make it enjoyable for me with laughs and comfortability. I felt very much safe around him. I look forward to more outings with him to perfect my skills and techniques. My fiancé got me my fishing charter for my birthday present back earlier this year and we booked for the end of June.Weather was absolutely perfect - almost a little too calm!But the fish were still on that day. We had an amazing time. Tristan was our captain and he was amazing! He could tell what fish was on just by how the fish hit , head shakes etc.10/10 experience I cannot recommend them enough if you haven’t been out- do yourself a favour and book a charter or sunset cruise with the boys at lucky lefty.

We Chartered with Matthew in the late summer of 2019. A beautiful sunny day with a moderate easterly wind. Initially, the fishing was slow, so Matt changed spots several times looking for the fish. What impressed us most was how Matt continuously modified the baits, speed and depths to find the set up the fish were looking for. Well, he found it in the early afternoon putting us on Spring, Coho Salmon, Lake Trout and Rainbows. The largest fish we caught was a 26 lb Spring.We like to think we caught the fish, but we would not have caught nearly as many with out Matt's hard work, knowledge of the lake and fish in it.Great boat, food, music and laughter. Highly recommended.

We had a trip with Captain Matt yesterday with our 3 kids! It was an experience they will remember their entire life! He is very professional, so friendly and you can feel his passion about fishing! We learnt new ways of fishing, and got at least 8 Salmons in our trip!! Such an amazing experience!! Highly recommend 5*!!

Just returned from a sunset cruise with Captain Matt. We booked a sunset cruise for my Husbands birthday, and we couldn’t have asked for a better evening, the hospitality from Matt was out of this world. We had a wonderful time and would HIGHLY recommend Lucky Lefty Charters. We cannot wait to book another trip next summer! Thank you again

Matt is an excellent Captain and a great guy to fish with. He knows how to get onto the fish and show his crew and clients a good and safe time. The Boston Whaler snd Grady White are spectacular vessels to be aboard. I've had the pleasure to be on both. Matt is an amazing captain with a beautiful boat and immaculate gear. Cleanliness and attention to detail are apparent on each trip as you’d never know how many big fish hit the deck the day before because it’s spotless. Look forward to catching a lot of big fish with the best gear on the market. Dress for pictures.

What a great day out on the water with Captain Matt over the Canada day long weekend. Our group of 5 caught multiple fish each and Matt was extremely knowledgeable and made our trip a giant success. We will definitely be back next year Captain!
