I guess the sign on the wall at Takro that states satisfaction guaranteed" applies only to Takro. I bought a vehicle from Takro that was safetied by Takro which then turned out to have a contaminated braking system rendering the vehicle unusable. Takro has to date failed to do anything to remedy the situation and I am stranded with no money and no vehicle. I would avoid this company like the plague. They may offer a "great buying experience" as aluded to by those not saddled with a lemon

I read some of the reviews and I couldn’t understand where most people got the excellent customer service, until I figured that the five star reviews they got were all fake. If I could give zero stars I would. The guy doesn’t even care to sell you a car or not , he constantly looks uninterested, and wouldn’t budge with the price not one cent. You aren’t allowed to test drive and you aren’t allowed to take the car to your mechanic. Very fishy place, and the car I was looking at looked like it had extensive damage repairs done (or just patched up). After a few negotiations calls he eventually said that the car has issues and he doesn’t want to sell it .GoodRiddance

Bought a Nissan Quest minivan at Takro Canada in June 2017. The sales people at the dealership were nice and friendly however when I picked up the car, right away the speedometer wasn't working and the exhaust pipe broke. After that was fixed, I took the van to my mechanic and found out the car needed a new subframe, controls arms and a bunch of other smaller stuff. I took it back to Takro and they did end up fixing it however that was the third time the vehicle had to be brought back. The vehicle ended up lemon, the speedometer never worked properly, AC failed shortly after purchase, it needed a new catalytic converter, multiple O2 sensors, bearings, etc. I scrapped the van after putting less than 15,000kms on it. All in all this was a bad transaction and a poor experience.

Bought 2015 Sienna. The vehicle had no problem when we tested a drive. We did not expect any problem in the beginning, Once the vehicle was driven 50km or run long time and never started up till the engine was cold. I had to take it to Toyota dealership and I was quoted around $5k tax included to change whole harness system, cause somebody had tried to fix whole cables. I am so sorry guys. You put me in a hard situation.

Bought a vehicle there promised next day got it 3 weeks later.problems right away with heating and a/c. Got it back and now 2 months later water pump went and now transmission.and good luck for someone to call you back from there.btw garbage warranty. Will never recommend or go back there.i apologize bought july 31 and got it 24 days later thats why it feels like 2 months.you say no sales since june funny purchase date july 31 and got it 24 days later and i didnt see any renos.johnston rd

Excellent Customer Service!!I have bought two cars from Takro during last 5 years. I have also recommended them to my friends and family. one of my cars had a brake problem after two weeks, I took it back to them and they fixed it for me. People who work there are so honest and they never push you to buy. That's one of the things I really like about them. At the beginning they told us that these cars are used and there is always a possibility that something unknown happens to the car. That's why the mechanic who does the certified gives us 30 days warranty. For both cars that I bought, I had to go back and see their mechanic at least once and he fixed it without charging me. I have been driving one car for the last five years and the second one since January and am so happy with them . I really appreciate Takro Canada for being such a trust-able dealer. I recommend them to everyone who looks for a reliable vehicle. They are willing to give you the car History. They considering your situation to offer you the best advice in order to buy a suitable car for you and your family. I need to add that my friends also have had a very good experience with Takro. At the end I need to add that their price in Ottawa is unbeatable. I couldn't find any other place who could compete with their prices.

Terrible customer experience. 3 engine light first month of ownership. Was assured that they would cover any repairs that a safety would cover for 30 days and was told that a car can pass safety with an engine light on. Buyer beware do not go here.

Looks good on the surface but full of used car salesman tricks or they just don't car and incompetent. I went there to buy one of two cars, the first thing they tell me its conditionally sold"

I was interested in purchasing a car here. I called them up multiple times during business hours only to be told they are not open and to call back later. Finally made an appointment and went in to see the vehicle only to be told I couldn't test drive the car. Also, they are unwilling to have an independent mechanic look over the car for a pre-purchase inspection. Terrible customer service.
