The Mud Oven

Lovely setup and lots of choices for colors and ceramics to paint. I was really unimpressed with the service. The front desk person (Sacred) had a very rude tone and seemed irritated when we asked a question. Customer service standards need to be reviewed here.

Very very fun activity for your friends that like art, want to be inside and maybe in a quieter setting. It’s honestly a little bit therapeutic and it’s super satisfying to choose the colours and play with them. The prices are a bit high but it’s for the experience, the time, the supplies and the help while you’re there. Be patient, you don’t get your creation back the same day. They offer a selection of mugs, plates, animal figurines and cool items (brain, rollerblades etc…) I think they also host birthday parties for kids or bigger groups.

They were really responsive to messages. Gave us no hassle about rescheduling our session. The instructions about painting were clear and helpful. The processing was quicker than expected and we got our pieces back just 4 days after painting them!A really cute activity as a date, with friends, with family, even as team building for work.Super excited to use our pieces! Would come back

Great place for an activity to spend a few hours. Whether you are artistic or not, it's fun to paint and be creative. Staff is helpful and friendly.

Such a wonderful place, it was really interesting considering it was our first day. We had so much fun the only thing is we need a bit more time than the two hour allotted slot. The staff is so knowledgable and helpful !!I would recommend a place to anyone looking for a great day idea or even going there with a few friends.

What a cute idea for a date - whether it’s a friend date, a date with your partner, or a date with your family! The options for ceramics are great (we checked online before going so we didn’t get too overwhelmed) and the colours are adorable! The staff were friendly and clearly explained what to do! We spent around 2 hours painting and never felt rushed or crowded. Pick-up was also super easy and our items were carefully wrapped. We will definitely be coming back!

This is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon and get creative! A staff member named Kendra walked us through all the instructions and made sure we felt confident before we started painting our pieces. There is a great selection of pieces to choose from and the environment is really cute and relaxed. We had so much fun and highly recommend!

some girlfriends and i went to the mud oven for a girls night on a friday night and it was incredible! we had an amazing time, the staff was so friendly, kind and patient answering all of our questions! i want to give a HUGE shoutout to Kendra! she was a superstar! she genuinely went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable! from hyping us up, answering questions, helping and giving suggestions to even writing for me on the bottom of my mug! 1000/10 experience we will for sure be returning! Thank you so much Kendra and the mud oven!!

What a great place! They have plenty of options and the prices are very reasonable. I went by myself and felt very welcomed. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.I love the location, it's not in the heart of downtown so it's not overwhelming if you don't like going downtown.I will update once I have my mug back!

Had a fantastic time painting pottery at the Mud Oven. We were able to secure a reservation the morning of the day we wanted to paint so we got very lucky for a Saturday.There were lots of choices to make, from what to paint, to what colours and what designs to do. The staff were patient and helpful in giving tips and suggestions when we needed a bit of advice.We had a late reservation so we only had less than 2 hours to paint. Felt a bit rushed and probably could have spent way more time really perfecting our pieces but it was good to have a little bit of a push to just go for it. They did offer for us to finish off our pieces at home and bring back to fire if we wanted so that was a nice option to have. We opted to just finish in-store that evening.Our pieces were ready to pick up after about 7-8 days and they turned out beautiful! Definitely interested in coming back again. I would suggest making a reservation to ensure that there's space as it was pretty busy when we were there!
