Be very careful with this place. They do very dishonest business and take advantage of people. A friend brought some family heirloom jewelry in (diamonds and gold) to reuse for her wedding band and they did the old switcheroo with the the diamonds. When confronted about it they played dumb. I hope karma catches up to them soon.

Impeccable Jewellers has some beautiful pieces in their store. However I feel compelled to share my recent experience at the store with a repair to a gold necklace. The spring on the clasp of a necklace that was my mother’s was broken and I took it into Impeccable to have it repaired. When I picked it up after receiving a call advising me that it was repaired I checked the clasp and found that it hadn’t been fixed. The Impeccable employee assisting me inspected the clasp for a while and after instructing me on how to use the clasp correctly (really?) she finally agreed with me that it had not been fixed by the jeweller it was sent to. The new clasp was in a separate bag so she proceeded to remove the broken clasp with needle nose pliers and attach the new clasp to the necklace. The whole experience took a while and left me feeling frustrated. The icing on the cake was the cost. I was charged $100 for the repair. Outrageous! I won’t go back.

Had a great experience in the store today. Brad helped with assessing a ring I have for sale, similar to an insurance appraisal process. He was knowledgeable and efficient. I had a chance to look at some of their displays and there are a ton of really unique pieces. Will definitely return in future.

They should call this business Impetuous Jewelry as it doesn't seem Brad cares to enlighten individuals without being condensending and short. Thanks for the help, I guess, though we left with heavy hearts at being treated so poorly in the short conference we had.Doctors make a Hippocratic Oath, it seems that you could learn a thing or two about doctors before comparing yourself to one. It seems Brad has made the hypocrite oath as he acts in opposition to all those standards.

I brought in my wedding ring set to be sized and soldered together. I was quoted $85 per ring (much higher than anywhere I’ve ever been before) but there aren’t many jewellers in Duncan and I’d been putting it off for months so wanted to just get it done. When the rings came back, I was charged $235. I assume it was due to having them soldered together as well, so I didn’t argue, just gritted my teeth and paid, though it’s frustrating that the additional cost wasn’t quoted to me.When I dropped the rings off, the owner/manager, Brad, helped me. He looked at my rings with the loupe and told me the claws looked good but they’d check everything. A few weeks later, I noticed one of the claws on the main stone of my engagement ring was broken off. I brought it back into the store to see if they could repair it. Brad told me I must have banged it into something and just didn’t remember, because they “wouldn’t have let the ring leave with a broken claw.” I said that’s fair enough, but perhaps when they sized it, something happened with the claw to weaken it and so it broke off very easily after I picked it up. He agreed to fix it at no charge. I waited almost 2 weeks and the rings finally came back again. I picked them up on a Thursday. On the Sunday, I noticed another claw on one of the smaller diamonds was now broken off. I went back in the next day and showed him my rings. When I explained to him that I wasn’t doing anything super physical while wearing them (my exact words were “I’m a mom”), he told me not to give him that excuse, that 95% of the repairs they do are for moms: babies ripping chains off their moms, women hitting their hands on something and not realizing because they’re busy with something else. I told him that I could understand babies pulling on chains, but I was told the claws looked good when I dropped it off and hadn’t heard otherwise when I picked them up, so it didn’t make sense to me that two claws had now broken off. I wanted them to repair the broken one, and have all the other ones checked, because it’s obviously a very important piece of jewellery. Brad said he would send the ring out right away. He didn’t mention a cost.I received a phone call from Brad 3 days later, saying they had gotten the quote back for the repair. They could fix the broken claw and “all the other claws on the main stone needed to be replaced as well.” It would be $285 to do this. I questioned him, as they had just replaced a claw on the main stone and the current broken claw wasn’t even on the main stone. He was very argumentative and patronizing during this conversation, which went in circles, and he eventually said that the claws on all the stones needed replacing and then they could guarantee them if another broke. He offered to give me a 30% discount. The whole situation gave me a very uneasy feeling, so I told him I would think about it and call back with an answer. After speaking with a family member who worked in a jewellery store for over a decade, I called back to tell them I would not be going forward with the repair and that I would be in to pick it up that afternoon. The woman on the phone told me the ring wasn’t in the store, that they had shipped it to TORONTO for the quote/possible repair. I had to wait another 8 days to get my rings back, and when I phoned to ask about them after a week, Brad was once again very rude to me on the phone, telling me I would obviously need to provide him with “a number” to find my file. I wasn’t sure if he wanted a phone number or the number on the ticket they gave me, and when I asked, he said he would need a number because “they do 250 repairs a week and he doesn’t remember everyone.”The whole experience from start to finish was horrible and I will not be going back, will not refer anyone to the establishment, and I will be taking my rings to a different jeweller and having both the claws and the stones checked, as it makes no sense to me that the claws would just start breaking one after another. The condescending tone from Brad was also not appreciated.

I always walked by the store and admired the beautiful pieces in the window. I decided to go in and have someone look at a piece I recently acquired to give me some insight on what I had on my hands, as well as pay for the service to have it cleaned up no matter the quality of the stone that was mounted. Brad let me know in an annoyed tone that it was not a gemstone, just colored glass mounted on 925 silver (which I don't mind, it still could have used a cleaning and I would have worn it out). He was condescending. I asked for some insight on how he was able to tell a gemstone from colored glass and he deadpan said I wouldn't understand, you need ten years of training. Thats like asking a doctor to explain how he knows something"

I bought a pair of earrings that I was told had silver. Unfortunately I had to have them repaired because the hooks bent out of shape too easily. When they were repaired (at another shop) I was told they were actually pewter which is dangerous to put in your ear.I can’t reply to the original review, so I will edit:Transaction was July 9th for $335.99. I’ve just had the hooks replaced with silver but the casing around the stone would still be pewter (this is what I’ve been told from the Jeweller I took them to on the mainland).
