Lovely cafe. Lots of beautiful, well priced Artisan treasures to buy. Food was good but over priced for what we got. The lady in the kitchen that day wasn't overly friendly. It was easy to find & get to off Hwy 14.

Their spicy dill pickle wings are the best but all their flavours are really good! They offer blue cheese which is rare and is an additional plus in my books. Can't wait to try the rest of their menu.

Had the Nonnie Burger and onion rings (I get them extra crispy) at Nonnie’s Grill & Artisian Shop in south cooking lake.The burger patty is made in house as well as the bun, everything was delicious!Next door to Roundabouts for some soft serve ice cream for dessert!

René at Nonnie’s Grill helped cater a large event for us at close by Camp Van Es, and it was amazing. Food was delivered hot, with freshly made pies for dessert. Plenty of food for everyone, and all my 25 hungry university student’s loved it! Highly recommend. The most generous toppings, and best crust ever! If you’re driving down highway 14, be sure to plan a stop at Nonnie’s before heading home!

Putting it out there… Nonnie’s Grill and Artisan shop is by far the best restaurant we have been to in years. The casual, homey, relaxed atmosphere makes you feel you are at your families house for dinner.Staff are friendly, warm and welcoming. And Rene goes out of her way to make your experience personalized.We recently went for my partners birthday, and Rene personally made a fresh Poppyseed Cake with Cream Cheese icing for us! It was a lovely and touching surprise for my partner and professional quality!I recommend Nonnie’a for an intimate dinner for two, or for a group event! Reach out ahead of time and let them know you are coming and they will make sure your experience is the best!Thank you so much Rene! ❤️On a side note: being an artisan shop as well, Rene and team support local artisans and the restaurant offers handmade items… pottery, cards, jewelry, canned goods, spices, paintings, signs, etc! A perfect place to buy a personalized gift! And while dining in, they also have locally made ciders among many other beverages! Don’t miss out on this amazing experience!Lastly! If you live in Edmonton, Sherwood Park or a nearby city or town, it is worth the drive. A scenic tour through the country, all on paved roads. You’ll see cattle grazing, rolling crops, lush ecosystems and perhaps a wild animal or two! Stop in on your way home from Elk Island, and make it a trip to remember.

Good luck finding a burger in the city this good. Literally the best homemade hamburgers I've ever eaten in my 45+ years. The fries are also the best I've ever had. I'm making the drive here whenever I want the best burger AND fries available!
