Nikosi Bistro Pub
The service was great and staff very friendly. Bathroom was clean. There was only one vegetarian option: the veggie burger with fries ($23). For $3, you can change the side for salad. Everything was standard fare, so I would say it was all a bit overpriced, but the patio has a wonderful view of the lake so you're paying more for the experience. Parking is hard to find.

Great spot to grab a cold beer and a meal with a view of the river. Staff were bilingual and very friendly. They had a unique selection of pub style food, recommend the duck poutine it was tasty.

Good stuff to come below. We went for the butter duck but it wasn't available today :( ordered the duck salad and asked to split it onto two plates, it was not split when it arrived and we had to do it ourselves. Asked for side plates to share, plates were tiny, had to ask for bigger ones. I wouldn't recommend the duck salad, it lacked flavour. The fish and chips were PHENOMENAL though!!! SO good. All in all, the service wasn't great at first but they acknowledged that and tried to improve very quickly which was much appreciated. Some days aren't always great for any resto so we did appreciate the effort and still had a lovely time! Next time I'll call in advance to make sure the meal I want is actually available.

Atmosphere looked nice, so we got a patio seat to have a nice meal on a beautiful day.Unfortunately the food was awful. I ordered a salad with duck. The salad was wilted and old, the dressing was awful, and the duck was tough and flavourless. It tasted like meat that had been boiled for soup and you'd typically discard after all the flavour was cooked out of it. Even the plating was careless with dressing all over the bowl and the croutons" were soggy from sitting in wet salad for a while.My partners sandwich was mediocre at best

We stopped in for a bite to start off our long weekend. Careful and thorough cleaning procedures when we were seated followed by prompt service for drinks and food. The burger was delicious as was the bannock grilled cheese. Dessert was fantastic.

I have been to Wakefield many times and have noticed this restaurant every visit. I finally decided to give it a try and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The ambience is very cosy and comfortable. The food is fabulous. I enjoyed the Mac and Cheese bowl with the elk sausage. Delicious! The server was great and polite as was the nice lady who gave us our bill in the end. I will definitely return and hopefully try out the patio in the summer.

What a gem of a place! Great staff, food and ales in a beautiful setting.. and we were lucky enough to enjoy the talents of a pair of local musicians (on a Thursday evening). Thoroughly recommended! Even the benches are modeled on the nearby magnificent covered bridge...

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide drinks list and wonderful dessert. It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want a romantic night out.

Not my kind of food. But, with that said I am glad I went with friends. I got the boar burger and had a smoked Caesar drink. Fries are hand cut. Food was fresh. But, a bit heavy for my taste. When I go back I will try the salads. They look great.

Nice pub right on the river. Nice atmosphere on the deck on a sunny day with great view of the river. Service was good and burgers were ok.
