Liv is amazing! We were so happy with their professionalism and the results of their work! Our ceremony was bilingual and multicultural, and they were super open and affirming to all our guests!

Liv did photos for a mini fall shoot for us in 2021 and our wedding in may 2022 and I loved working with them both times. We specifically was looking for a queer fat friendly photographer in the area because I wanted someone who could understand my life experience on a basic level and I also just wanted to know my money wasn’t going to some cringy basic blonde cis woman who couldn’t see my whole identity and would just photograph me like the “man” in my queer wedding.I’m so happy with how both shoots turned out. Liv really knows how to capture the true candid moments of joy and because of that, I was able to see the photos of myself and look past my insecurities and see the moments for what they really were. 100/10 would recommend. Liv also does a ton for the queer community of Grand Rapids and I’m proud to know that’s where I spent my money.

From engagement shoot to the day of our wedding, Liv was an absolute joy to work with.As a queer couple, they made us feel incredibly safe and affirmed. Liv’s effervescence and artful eye immediately put my partner and I at ease, bringing out the very best in every shot.Not only are they a talented photographer, but they are exactly the type of person you want around in an emotionally charged setting. Calm, friendly and encouraging, they're a total gem.My partner and I were blown away at Liv’s ability to capture the essence of our ethereal day in a static image. Choosing Liv as our wedding photographer was the easiest and best decision we made during the planning process! Before the wedding, they were responsive to all of our questions and asked thoughtful questions to make sure the photos would be perfect (and they are!). During the wedding, Liv seamlessly fit in as we moved to different locations and tried to get pictures with all of our guests. We didn't even notice her taking photos at the ceremony, and they are beautiful! Neither of us are very comfortable in front of a camera, but Liv put us at ease. Liv somehow captured the feel of our wedding and our style. They had creative ideas for photos that are now our favorites. We couldn't be happier when we look back at our memories from Liv!

Liv is an incredible wedding photographer and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a talented, experienced, and fun wedding photographer. They were so easy to work with and did a great job to capture the day as it was happening. I loved that the photography team was such a calming presence but they were also able to be in charge when they needed to be to coordinate all of the different shots. The photographs were edited very quickly and there wasn't a single bad photo in the album they delivered. We actually picked our covid-rescheduled wedding date to meet Liv's updated availability and we are so glad we did. Liv is awesome and I would highly recommend working with them for your wedding!

Liv was literally the most amazing photographer we could have asked for. They were so easy and wonderful to work with and they captured our wedding perfectly. I was really worried that I wouldn’t like my wedding photos before we found Liv but talking to her and walking through our vision I knew from the beginning that we were in good hands. We got our photos back incredibly quickly and there is not a single photo I don’t love. I would book again with them in a heartbeat!

Liv is an incredibly talented photographer! Not only do they take gorgeous photos, but are one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. My wife and I have booked Liv multiple times now, and it’s always such a joy working with them.

Where do I even begin with Liv??? Way back in early 2019, before we were even engaged, my now-husband and I kept throwing around the idea of having our future wedding at a summer camp. When I stumbled upon an article in A Practical Wedding with Liv's photos that were exactly the vibe we were going for, it felt like fate, especially when we realized they were also in Michigan.Liv is easy to communicate with, has a great sense of humor, and was laid back and open-minded when it came to what we wanted out of our wedding day. They made us feel comfortable and found so many creative spaces during both our engagement session and our wedding to get unique shots.When we had to postpone, Liv was easy to work with and understanding, as they had gone through the same thing. I appreciated that they were taking covid seriously as well! Finding vendors whose values matched my own was a big thing I strived for in my planning when at all possible.The turnaround to get our photos was faster than we expected and we have gotten so many compliments and know we will look back at these photos for the rest of our lives with absolutely joy! Would highly recommend Liv to anyone who is getting married!

We cannot say enough good things about Liv! It was really important for us to choose a queer photographer for our wedding, and all our photography dreams came true when we found Liv. They were so easy to work with, and the photographs from our wedding are truly beyond our wildest dreams!! Liv was a delight to work with for both our engagement session and our wedding and made us feel so relaxed, carefree, and joyful (exactly the way we wanted to feel on our wedding day!).
