I had a horrible experience day . I made an appointment for Yumiko in April.No confirmation has been received. Until May 30th, I was writing an email to ask for confirmation.Due to my error, I went to the 4th Street branch on time today and was told by a female clerk that I had the wrong location, who helped me to call the main store to ask if my appointment was valid and if I could now. The clerk got a response and told me that the reservation was valid and told me to go to the main store（1 st SW) as soon as possible. However, 2 minutes later, the female clerk at the main store called me. And told me that the manager thought that even if I arrived within 10 minutes, I would still be late and asked me to change the appointment time.I wondered why the answer that the appointment was valid two minutes ago suddenly changed. If it is unacceptable for my mistakes, you can tell me on the first call that my appointment is out of date, and I can accept it. But two minutes later, the decision changed, leaving me hopeful and disillusioned. Moreover, even not given 10 minutes of time and opportunity. The manager of the 4th street branch even said rudely that there would be no conflict if you did not come to the wrong location and motioned me to leave the store. I said it was my fault that I came to the wrong location. You can tell me directly that the appointment is invalid. However, one of your employees said it worked, and three minutes later, another clerk said it did not work. Is this teasing me?The manager of the main store does not admit what the clerk said and emphasizes that I did not understand the meaning. Then just explains what it means to be effective, that is welcome to the main store, but no service is provided for you. I have never been treated so rudely by a Japanese nor encountered such bad Japanese service since I moved to Calgary. I will never patronize this store again.

I've been getting my haircut at Etch for a few years now and always leave happy. Despite having long straight hair and a fairly straightforward cut, I appreciate the stylists' attention to detail (ie how the hair falls and frames the face) that I haven't always gotten at other salons. Especially happy with the cuts I've gotten from Yumi!

I regularly come here to see Brooke and get my hair chemically straightened, coloured and cut. I'm always super happy with the results :) The team here is amazing and the shop is clean and inviting.

The best thing is that you made me very comfortable throughout the process and very accomadating to all my asks! I am a person who is very careful with my hair and so glad I choose this place....

I've had many lash lifts in the past and this was by far the best one I have ever had. Mio is incredibly gentle and did such a fabulous job with my lashes. I couldn't be happier!

I had the pleasure in working with Zxyro for my hair.He is an amazing colorist and hair stylist and deserves to be acknowledged.He gave me the ash blonde color that I wanted and I can certainly see myself working with him in the future; he demonstrates great patience and awesome listening skills.Additionally, this studio has good people culture. I noticed that the team works cooperatively and efficiently helping each other out where needed.Thank you again Zxyro for doing an amazing job and to your team that also helped out in the process!
