Really delicious food, but there is no sound dampening so it’s super difficult to hear people at your own table unless there is no one else in the dining room.

Went out on a date night here and the two of us were seated at a couch with lots of room. We ordered two separate specialty drinks and both were delicious. The food was unreal (the chicken was so tender!) The decor was beautiful and warm and we would definitely come back another time!

Had dinner in the bar area. Nice big booth but the seat needs a new cover. The food was well presented and loved the micro greens on the plate. Everything we ordered was a little over done.Really nicely decorated. Good date night spot for sure.4 stars because I’ll come back.

My wife, and I were here on June 30th for our 19th anniversary. From the moment we arrived we were greeted and sat at a table, even though we were a half hour early. We were promptly attended to with menus and waters and given plenty of time to go through the menu. Did not feel rushed at all. The atmosphere was warm and inviting with some modern music playing in the background. Very romantic. We ordered our drinks. She had a rum based cocktail (Barbados Rum) I went with the Somersby apple cider. Very refreshing. Our meal consisted of the bread & butter board. Awesome! Was not expecting the incredible presentation. Very flavorful and would be good for 4 people.She had a cream based fettuccini. I forget what it was called but it had a truffle oil and no protein. She added a chicken leg to it. Very flavorful and chicken was moist and tender.I had Linguine Pescatore which was also delicious. Noodles were cooked perfectly with plenty of seafood and I ordered it with a cream sauce. Finally we finished with the New York Cheesecake. Wow! Presentation is everything and they do it right here.Nick was our server and executed his job flawlessly. Thanks for the great service Nick.Thanks for the wonderful evening. We will be back for weekend brunch which I’m told is also incredible. Can’t wait!

Had a delightful night at Ampersand | 27. The combination of a warm welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, stylish decorate , soft music playing on background, and attentive service made us a memorable dining experience.

Hospitality was great but..Expected a fine dine experience but it turned out to be ok between a sport's bar and fine dine..We had no options in main course for vegetarians or vegans which is so 2014's...Drinks were completely out of balance for 16$ which were supposedto be a craft cocktails according to their website...we ordered Margarita pizza which was more like a frozen pizza from grocery store for 21$...Fries were ok but huge in quantity..Bread pudding dessert tasted as if it was made few days ago and kept frozen..Overall it is a over priced place for the food and drinks they serve on whyte ave in comparison to other places right on the same stretch..

$275 for two on Valentine's Day. This is the worst restaurant I've ever had. The steak was burnt and tasted bitter outside. I had a stomachache after eating beef. The seafood main course had only a tiny piece of fish, and the mussels were stale. The cake feels like it came from the supermarket. It's totally out of line with the $100 per capita price level.

We had the butter board, cauliflower bites, pizza, and cocktails. The mushroom pizza was the tastiest treat, but overall the food was quite expensive for what was received. The service was very disorganized and they weren’t familiar with their own menu. Nice atmosphere, but would not return

I would give it 3.5 but will give 4 just because in my opinion food comes first.1. Staff didn't seem very friendly.2. Our server didn't introduce herself. And was not very helpful.3. If you lift your head up - interior looks modern and fresh. If you look down - tables and chairs ask for replacement. Carpet - i will just say: maybe it needs to be washed or atleast vacuumed. In best scenario - changed. And dust... everywhere. I am not saying it is always like that. It was my first time at Ampresand 27. But that is what i saw.It is in top 10 places to eat if you look on google. The higher end restaurant - the higher demands from customers.My compliments to the kitchen. Food - spot on. We enjoyed our brunch. Tasty eggs benny and they are not cheap with meat on it for sure.
