DriveTest - St. Catharines

One of the worst locations. Today I had my G. Examiner was so rude with me. She feel offended If I ask something or confirm something. There was construction trucks on highway. So I asked politely to change change lane because of construction trucks indicating towards left. She answered like; I am an examiner not you. You have to follow my instructions. You are no one to give instructions and then at the end when we discussed this thing she changed her statement to ;; you should know how to drive safely and what the rules are . I am just to give directions.If you really wanna pass your exam don’t go on this location. Also, at the time of my G2 . Examiner said, I am very safe driver and observant. And she said m very bad driver???? Does it make any sense….In St catharines all depends on examiner mood to pass you or fails you. So don’t waste your time n money here. Don’t become prey of someone’s bad mood. She ruined my whole day. If she don’t know how to be nice like a human, leave her job. I don’t know her name otherwise I would love to post .Worst! Worst!Worst

I got my full G today i got there and i had to wait for over an hour i was a starting to get a little worried i went back inside and ask she told me i was next i was like okay waited for about another 20 25 minutes for the examiner to finally come. Ash the examiner She was very nice i did the test it was all smooth sailing from there it was rocky at first all is forgiven after ash the examiner thought i did good thank you ash much appreciate it was going to give 4 stars for an hour waiting in the end i will give it a 5 stars.

There was a lady name Anita. She discriminate based on skin color. She tells me while taking right turn at yield sign that signal is green go right away but there were cars taking turn from front direction am I supposed to hit them or what? Even while going out of drive test center there were pedestrian standing more than 1m away they werent walking and it was safe so I took a turn because of this she continously talked about pedestrian rights in whole test I was so pressurized. She is not professional at all.

Terrible understaffed location. need mroe staff or another location for the volume of people coming in.Also very uninformedWas Told to just come in and do a vission test to switch provinces.At the kiosk she said you also need a birth certificate and pass port.So i came back a different day, wiated in line, and than they said I also need a abstract or they have to bump my license down to a G2.So now I am ordering that waiting to go back for a fourth time.Just give all the information up front jeez

My daughter recently wrote her G1 and was feeling a little anxious. It was crowed, confusing and we couldn’t even find a place to park. Jennifer went out for her way to make my daughter feel better in a very overwhelming environment. She helped her navigate the next steps and made the process manageable. Thank you Jennifer.

The instructor was ever nice and friendly. The directions were well given and in advance. He had patience with me and made me feel calm as I have a disability as well as mental disorders

Did not realize driving safe meant you failed a test. this place is such a joke, everything about it and the people in it. I would rather drive 2 hours to another driving test than drive the half an hour just to go to this stupid place!! My instructor is also such a joke, fire them. He was rude and needs to be fired. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN!!

I gave my G test at this centre on 21st June 2023 in the afternoon. I checked-in myself at the Kiosk inside, got my ticket and waited in car for 15-20 minutes approximately. Patrick, my examiner, was very professional and gave me clear directions during the test. I passed my test, yay! It was my first road test in Ontario, so I was a little nervous seeing all negative comments about this centre. My experience has been really positive.The person at the desk who issued my temporary G license was very pleasant and welcoming as well. He smiled and congratulated me for passing the test. Overall, I would give 5/5 for the test center, as well as my examiner Patrick. I wish good luck for all the future test takers. Cheers!

Let's start with the negatives.- The parking lot is a sick joke- The place is always absolutely packed, and wait times are usually longNow the positives- The people that work there are exceptional. Friendly, helpful, and understanding. They have a very busy job, and I am sure they deal with tons of irate people and they don't seem to let that bother them. Nothing but good experiences with the people there.

My experience has nothing do with the Road test results.First visit, we reached 15 minutes before the appointment. checked in and waited in the car. Road Test officer showed up after half an hour from the appointment time.Second visit, we were late by 5 minutes from the appointment time of 11.42 AM. Was not entertained by the Road kiosk machine instead suggested us to meet service representative. (Acceptable).Met the service representative, we chose the option of standby line. Service representative suggested to sit and wait for the name to be called. (Acceptable).After 15 minutes other candidate came whose appointment was also at 11.42 AM. I thought she will also be told to wait in the standby lane. But she was asked to wait in the car. And in few minutes her road test was completed (Can someone explain why she was entertained immediately and why we were not?)Waited for another hour and enquired that weather we need to site inside or wait in the car. We were told to sit and wait for the name to be called.Waited for another hour and enquired. One of the guy put our name on late entry log sheet. And then after 5-10 minutes, road test officer came from outside and called our name and shouted on us that why we are sitting inside and not waiting in the car. We told her that we were asked to sit inside only. (Please make a concrete rule weather to keep stand by lane people inside or in the car.....).
