White Lake Provincial Park
We have been camping at this park most years over the last 20 years, we considered this park to be one of our favorite camping spots for our annual fishing trip. This year park officials have decided to enforce a rule which no longer allowed us to beach our fishing boats by our campsites. This rule which was never enforced before, it forces us to pull our boats out after each time fishing. This is a huge inconvenience and the camp has insufficient dock spaces to rent, by the way you cannot be reserve docks when booking campsites which we typically do in April. Bad rules and policy enforcement will force a very steady customer to go elsewhere. Maybe a better policy would be to allow campers to reserve the dock space when the sites are reserved? Also additional dock space would be another possible solution?Unhappy former steady customers.Dan & Sue CoulterShelby Township Michigan

The best experience my parents and I have ever had. My father loved it so much, the fishing was great. Our campground was nice and clean with a good amount of space which was kept clean and staff that were engaging and very friendly, especially Chris and Danica. We want to say thank you to whoever cleaned the bathrooms in the moccasin flower campground because we were honestly amazed at how clean they were, and how good they smelt.

Beautiful park, sites were nice. Three lakes within the park to paddle, with canoe and kayak rentals. No cell service though unless you have Rogers or T-Bay Tel as your provider. If you know this ahead of time you can just untap from the grid for a while but if cell service is important to you, make sure you have Rogers!

Beautiful campground but we stayed when the community was celebrating with fireworks. Not good for an early night and it freaked out our dog.

After you arrived the first you have to do is cooking the water you want drink, because they forgot to install the right water filters. This for 36,50$ for a simple night stay, the most expensive campground since I started my crossing Canada tour in Vancouver.

Wonderful place to camp, a lot of people stay for extended periods of time, and they are super friendly. Only thing is, little to no cell reception.

I stayed here on my way from Thunder Bay to Sault Ste. Marie, as highway was closed at white River. Nice camp ground; however, what ruined the experience for me is that a train runs by every 4-5hrs day and night and sounds the horn as it passes. I would recommend rabbit blanket park near Wawa for a nice quiet stay (no trains and far enough from the highway). Also, if you have Bell, you won't get cell service at white lake.
