Memorial University - Guest Accommodations

Stayed in dorms for a night during my travels. Staff friendly, rooms clean, breakfast was delicious. Shared bathrooms but was never crowded. Was good for a night but couldn't imagine being a student in such a small living space!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfy. I didn't expect a complimentary breakfast, which was so good! I definitely will choose to stay there the next time when I travel to St. John's.

Nice, comfortable accommodations! The staff were very friendly and helpful! They helped us even when we didn't know where to get food or how to make our way into town! The price is very reasonable, and it includes breakfast! The accommodations are very clean and have all the simple things we needed (free Wifi, a desk to work at, etc). Definitely recommend coming here for anyone looking for a comfortable place that doesn't necessarily have many services, but it's simply looking for a very affordable place in St. John's!

Dorm type accommodations. Perfect if you dont want anything too fussy. Beds are fine, quiet and safe. Breakfast is continental style and perfectly adequate. Great value - close to downtown and easy to access all the sites.

Very nice and cosy place.The room is small and simple, but very efficiently arranged, where no space goes to waste. The stuff is very friendly and the facility is very clean! On top of this, you get also a nice self-serving simple breakfast with fruits, muffins, cereals, cheese, toast, jam, peanut butter and chocolate spread. There is tea and coffee available all the time at the reception for free.The location is good. It’s not downtown, but it’s easily reachable on foot 15 – 20 min easy walk. It’s easy to get from airport as it’s last station of the bus 14 which is the only bus that goes from airport. Next to the university is also a small pond with a walking path around it.I would recommend this facility specially for the budget travellers.

Dorm rooms used for guests but fairly spacious. Shared bathroom might not be for everyone but doable. Very clean rooms and amazing staff.Downside are the short beds (I'm 6'3) and the fact that no sockets are near the bed

Met my expectations. Had a rez room with 2 single beds. Shared floor bathroom which was very clean. Complimentary breakfast. Very reasonable price. Excellent for a few nights stay and easy drive to many sites/restaurants/stores. Would stay again. They also have suite style which was also excellent.

I stayed at the dorm style bedroom with shared bathroom. The room is spacious. Bed is comfortable. The whole place is clean and tidy. Front desk is very helpful. Lots of parking. And it comes with continental breakfast. I like how quiet and peaceful the environment is.

The room was spacious, the bed inviting and comfortable and the breakfasts varied and plentiful. The place was quiet and a short distance out of town. The staff was helpful and friendly, both on the front desk and the cafeteria. The communal shower area was always clean and fresh towels and linens always readily accessible for exchange. We did not use the kitchen area, but saw many who did so frequently. We did use the tv room to mingle with other guests. And the price - UNBEATABLE!

Absolutely AMAZING Staff!!! Friendly, caring, cordial. Sebastian from Ecuador was superb! Congrats to the team and well done MUN. Needless to say the cost benefit. I would recommend to any one who wants to save money and be treated well.
