Winchester District Memorial Hospital

My mother was brought in to the emergency room by ambulance in the morning. It is now 8pm and still hasn't seen the doctor. On another occasion they discharged my dad who has a little bit of dementia without calling anyone and there he was waiting and he was soaked! Uncaring bunch of people that work there! Terrible place!!!

Age 75, I have never been treated as well as my experience at Winchester Sleep Clinic. Disregard any complainant, this center is clean, quiet, caring that you are comfortable and relaxed and they are monitoring you full time so safety is maximized.Great staff and let us all be thankful we have this facility.

Just want to say on july 3rd I was in the ER and you all you where a awesome and a special thank you to the male nurse that was on the overnight shift ,that went out of his way for me . Sorry I am bad with names ,but I am sure you will know who I am talking about.

The ERDTriage, staff, nurses, imaging department and doctors we're all so kind and caring. I am greatful for the each person who attended to me and helping me feel relaxed. Thank You!

Don't go to Emerg... Unless you're ok with waiting endlessly. Arrived in the morning, not a single person called in until after 1pm (guessing after lunch break)... Currently 3:21 hardly any movement, still in the waiting room. No walk in clinics in the area or anywhere else to get seen on short notice. Hope you don't need to see a Dr in this area.

I had the best birthing experiences at Winchester Hospital.Dr. Toomey delivered my baby girl in Oct 2020 and Dr. Perron delivered my baby boy on July 3rd, 2023. They were both amazing!Dr. Toomey was my doctor for both. She has an amazing team (huge thank you to Julie). I felt like I could ask Dr. Toomey absolutely anything. She is so kind and patient. And she was always on time.Since Dr. Toomey wasn’t on call for my second baby Dr. Perron delivered my baby boy. He did an excellent job!All the nurses are so helpful!I wanted to give a huge thank you to a nurse named Melissa. She did everything to make sure I didn’t need a c-section and I am just so overly thankful for her too.I would recommend Dr. Toomey and her team to everyone! They truly are amazing!

I'm sorry, but at one time at Winchester Emergency you would be seen in less than 6 hours. Now you're lucky if it's only six. Recently I have had a few misfortunes which sent me here. On all three of these occasions I had to wait around 7 hours before I was seen. So it's not a excusable random incident. I don't know where all the money goes. But it isn't in emergency patient care. I'm going to give Kemptville hospital a go next time. It may be further, but I can drive quite far in 6 hours, like maybe Toronto!

It's 5pm,bring my wife who's having a hard time to swallow, throat brings tears to her eyes and swelling in her throat. 8hrs go bye before they see her, nothing for pain, basically no big deal. Not to mention at least half the people left tired of waiting. It's now 1:20 am still waiting
