There are 2 reasons builders shop here. Selection. Price.Bulk hardware is sold by weight. So even very small quantities are about half price vs. the big orange store.Staff is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, which makes them a bit arrogant. And they get busy and irritated like the rest of the human race.I'm glad they scare away the home handyman, as it makes getting in and getting out quick.It's worth the drive.

Good hardware store with friendly staff who are also well educated in lumber, finishing, tools and paint. Good selection of hand tools like Dewalt, Makita, and Milwaukee. If you can't find the material in their North Vancouver yard they can always bring material in from their Burnaby yard which happens morning.

This review is for North Vancouver and Burnaby location. It is hard to find the sales person to talk too. Most of the time, they are busy, tired and short staff, and have no time to talk to you - specially in lumber part. In most cases I was not happy of the service. They assume all customers are knowledgeable about all products. It is my last option to go there. I don't go there If I can find the product in any other place.

Inside customer service really sucks however when I went out into the yard to look around a gentleman approached me by the name of phil or phillip - he was truly a delight, took the time to show me product and go the extra mile and help load it in my car. by far the best service, if i ever need anything or if you need anything go see him. He is knowledgeable, creative, polite given it was end of his shift. wicked guy!!

Poor, poor customer service. We went in to buy a 4,000 door, dealt with Mike and not only he was rude and condescending but also seemed like he was doing us a favour. In the end without saying anything he just walked away and sat back down at his desk. We have bought lots of doors and materials in the past from them and never got this treatment.Don’t suggest going there unless you’re a contractor and know what you exactly want cause they won’t give any customer service to the general public. Specially don’t deal with Mike.We wanted to support a local business but obviously we now need to go to homedepot.
