The only reason this is 2 stars rather than one is because the place itself wasn't bad. I went here for a lash lift and the woman who did my lashes was very rough and aggressive which made my eyes hurt even after the procedure. She even got the chemicals in my eyes and then told me to relax" when I reacted. I thought it would be worth it but not even

So satisfied with my polish Mani. Chose Essie over OPI. And a week later the polish is still intact. Great top coat product!And the girls are so lovely at Queen West.

I really like this location, it's bright and clean and I've had great service here. I used to go for manicures (just polish), and although they are so lovely and luxurious, I couldn't justify going anymore because they always sent me out the door with wet nails (claimed the top coat was insta dry) and they always smudged, so it was money wasted.I recently went in for a facial, and it was AMAZING. She really knew her stuff and it felt incredible. The message portion was just phenomenal. The downsides were the room was blindingly bright and blasting surf rock, which made it really hard to relax and get into it. Also, it's been two days and my skin feels rough and dry in texture (I've never had dry skin in my life, I'm usually oily), and I haven't been able to balance my skin back, even with lots of moisturizing. Because of this I probably won't be back.

Pleasant staff, salon is clean and nicely decorated. I got a gel manicure and it turned out just okay. A little pricey for the service, and I probably won’t return because of that. There are other spots in Queen West that offer the same service for a more reasonable price that I would try before returning to Ten Spot.

I never leave reviews but I felt inspired to leave one because my experience that was extremely last minute was seamless and enjoyable. I had a Brazilian and underarm wax with Anna and she was thorough, calm, and made me feel super comfortable!! All of the things you look for when getting any type of wax. The staff are amazing and were super accommodating for my last minute appointment. Thanks Anna!!! Would highly recommend the services here especially with her.

After being a loyal client for two years, my favourite nail tech retired. The shellac manicures I received since have consistently lasted less than two weeks (previously, they lasted 2.5- 3 weeks) and I returned witting 5 days for a nail fix.At my last appointment, I was told by management that my nails were the problem and they would no longer honour their 5-day complimentary fix policy for me.The first place I tried (Polish’d) after cancelling my membership provided a shellac manicure that has lasted two weeks without lifting or chipping easily and is still going strong.Go somewhere else where your business and loyalty will be appreciated! I look forward to my continued services at Polish’d in future.

I went in for a quickie manicure and had a great experience! Cool music was playing and everyone was so friendly! Online reservations were easy to make too.

Ok, so let me say my issue is not with this location specifically, but with their booking system AND regular polish (if you know, you know). The atmosphere was very welcoming, but I did feel out of place after I was checked in. However, I will chalk that up to them having a trainee on the floor at the time. I came in to do threading and get a manicure. Both service providers were dope and provided excellent service. My eyebrows look amazing and my nails were done really well as well EXCEPT THAT REGULAR POLISH IS A SCAM! My mani ending up smudging within 30 minutes of leaving the salon... kinda wished I had gotten gel, but alas that was MY CHOICE and is no fault of the salon. I think I'll use them for my threading (which I forgot was so painful ouch) and I'll try the gel manicure next time as opposed to the regular polish. Overall, a good experience and I will be back again. Oh, almost forgot. The booking system is absolutely trash. I had to go through the forgotten password sequence three times over the span of two days before it worked. It seems like there are two systems, one for the franchise and then one for the individual spa (franchisee), which can be frustrating to use. I eventually was able to book my session the morning of my appointment but that frustration docked a star off.

I had a lovely gel manicure with Kala. She is so kind and amazing at what she does. My nails look fabulous and I am very happy with her work. Would recommend this site, it’s clean and welcoming and everyone is so friendly!
