really cute place with comfy chairs unlike other salons i’ve been to.the guy who did my nails is really nice and he did them within an hour, usually other places take like 2 hours or so.i paid 60$ for these nails, pretty pricy honestly since i did a simple set but they are well done.

I decided to get my nails for the first time yesterday and was super excited. Once I came home, I didn’t really like the shape and noticed one of my nails were crooked. I told my friend and she said I should probably go back to the salon to ask to get them fixed. I felt bad in doing that but my friend reassured me that it’s pretty common. Once I worked up the courage to call the next day and let them know I wasn’t satisfied with my nails, the person on the phone sounded very upset and said, “why didn’t you tell us earlier, why are you telling us now, after you already went home with them?” This made me feel even worse and now I’m reluctant on going back. As someone who has trouble voicing a dissatisfaction to someone providing a service, I feel like maybe getting my nails done isn’t for someone like me. What’s worse was that I was willing to pay a little extra too if necessary if they told me that but instead I was met with anger and frustration. I was told to come in and they would fit me in IF they have time after I told them about my nail being crooked but I was not offered this option when I initially told them I didn’t like the shape. I probably won’t be going back and will find a different salon to get my acrylics removed.

Leo is so full of himself. It is so sad. My nails would break every single time he did them. He told me it was my nails because his nails never break because he is perfect. I have been going to Karina at nails for you at square one for five months and not one broken nail since I stopped seeing Leo. #perfectnails

Different prices every time I goEDIT- they are still charging different prices every time I go. The last time I was there they charged me extra for changing my shape but this time they didn’t. There are only 3 people here who actually do a great job, everyone else does not. I come here often but after the last time I will not. My nail tech would not listen to me when I got something similar a few months ago. Telling me what would look good and what wouldn’t. I didn’t ask for your opinion. Second, the work was so shoddy that you can still see what colour my previous nails were (red). Third, the job was extremely sloppy, thick and messy, had to tell him a few times that it was crooked (the french tips) and he got visibly flustered and annoyed. He got the wrong glitter so I asked him for clear glitter he said we don’t have that (very aggressively, stood up and told his manager he doesn’t understand what I want and he was visibly annoyed) and I said I just got that a few months ago - they ended up finding the colour (ha). How is clear glitter hard to find? My nails don’t match, and the French tips are streaky and he didn’t do a second coat he said it didn’t need it. Lol. The nails also have bubbles and lint in each of them. He also said my nails were too short to do almond when I’ve done short almond before……….$70 for this? Absurd. I’m taking my business elsewhere. Pedicures are also a hit or miss and they never have new colours and all the popular colours are always dried out. Terrible customer service. There was also a really rude girl who worked here who no longer does. Train your staff on being nice and doing a detailed job. Don’t rush appointments just to get more. It’s greedy and not a good look.
