Amaazing Food! Ambience is much better than Scarborough location, which makes the experience even better! Keri no rass was just like India. And they give options for bread as well so we were able to have bajri na rotla after a long time, tasted great! And cherry on the top is, super affordable as well - 15$ for unlimited thali.

The food is ok but they need to serve with enthusiasm and smile. The owner is very rude and unaccomadative. We ordered vada pav and gave the option to sit in. We were given the option of no plates and no sweet sauce. When asked they said we don’t provide these with pada pav, but if are sitting there and finding the food spicy, shouldn’t they make the experience of the customer a pleasant one. They make you feel as if they are doing a favour by opening an Indian fast food in Thornhill. Also no credit cards accepted, only cash and debit( 30 cent for each debit transaction). Wish we had more options of Indian fast food near by.

I'd like this review to be a 'work in progress ' version given how much I want this establishment to remain and get better.Firstly, finding decent Gujarati (vegetarian) food away from the west is fantastic! And secondly, the choice for the thali is fun too! Kadi, Gujarati khichadi, dal, a host of sabjees along with desserts and a chat station means you'll not get bored. That's the good bit. And, truly, a fantastic Undhyu sabjee (going to return surely!)However there are places to improve - as others have commented, sabjees tended to be rather oily. And while the level of heat (spice) is relatively uniform, trying a few of them together results in an overload. Would suggest moderating it to make the amazing flavours sing!That's the good bits. As others have commented, the food tends to be oily (not all), and rotis though fresh and soaked in ghee were a tad undercooked (and slow in the making).All in all, I will definitely return for some selective rehash of my favourites!

Tried the unlimited thali for 15$, it was really good with homely taste vibes for the curries, if they maintain the quality then this restaurant is gonna be a big hit going forward.

Very Nice place to ear Gujarathi food.. specially the gravies.. it was so yummm and ghee dripping rotis goes countless in mouth.. best part is adding buttermilk to the thali which is also unlimited.. quite affordable for 20$ and way happy enough to eat in steel plates rather those takeaway containers and picnic plates.. full 10/10 ☀️ Veg Spot.

Recommendation for the owners will be to serve food at least warm if not hotWe went and all the items were at room temperature except the chapatis which were prepared on arrival.Warm food will be a good treat I hope as the food at Scarborough location is terrific

Had the unlimited thali today, and it was a delicious treat. As it was sunday, they had Puri. Menu included:Aloo Sabji, Aloo bhindi, matar sabji, cholle, undhuyi, khichdi kadi (not in pic), daal rice, puran poli, khaman and methi gota.The ambience is great, and it was peaceful lunch. For 15$ per thali, this one is great value for money.
