Via Rail Business Lounge - Ottawa

If I upgrade my trips to Via one, which is first class there are a lot of perks for not that much money. One of the major perks that I find aside from having a decent meal surf to me on the train and having quiet and very play service, is showing up at the train station as early as I want to be even 2 hours early, and taking advantage of the first class Lounge that they have at every station in a busy Metropolitan City. The one we're talking about today I think is Ottawa I grew up in Ottawa so, I have spent many many times in there pocketing lots of peanuts and drinking lots of coffee to get ready for a trip or just to unwind and check my emails before heading out. If you want to upgrade I would say that this is absolutely worth it, especially if you're going anywhere in this over the 3-hour mark. If you want to go from Toronto to Montreal or Toronto, via one is what you want

Absolutely a great place to wait for trains at the Ottawa railway terminal. Coffee and soft drinks available plus green apples!

Great place. Get a drink to unwind and get ready to travel . Via has been amazing with accessibility. Unfortunately they always run out of food selection when they get to the accessible seating or only have one option so that has been disappointing.

This lounge is bright, modern, clean and spacious. Friendly staff at front desk to check you in and to notify you of your trains arrival. Lots of comfortable seating is available with ports for charging. There is free hot + cold beverages available. This is the perfect spot to relax before boarding the train.

I enjoyed my experience using VIA Rail for my return trip from Ottawa to Dorval. The online ticket purchase was easy, boarding and egress was quick, staff were friendly and the ride was comfortable. The lounge was really relaxing. I was able to relax comfortably while waiting for the train. Refreshments were well stocked.I found it overall spacious and clean and would recommend it for adding a little extra comfort to a trip. The upgrade to the train was also good value on an advance fare.

It's the only way to travel. Relax before boarding and enjoy a coffee or juice. Comfortable seating and reasonably quiet.

The business class lounge is bright, modern and I love the coffee machines available to pour a fresh latte automatically with ease.The new modern train for the adventure class looks superb and I hope VIA deploys fleets for business class going forward that look like the new trains because then I'll recommend them to all my friends and family because of how comfortable and fabulous it looks.Dinner and breakfast service did not disappoint either.

Amazing experience and service with Via rail! Train travel is the best and Business class is the way to go. The VIP lounges are so comfortable. We had a situation where our travel plans had to change slightly....staff were so accommodating, professional and helpful! We were placed on an earlier train seamlessly. Cannot recommend them enough. The staff on the trains are excellent as well. Best way to travel.
