It wasn't a busy night very nice. The music is a little loud.The food was very tasty. My steak was over cooked but I ate it anyway. It was smothered in mushrooms and perfectly seasoned. The taste was so good it seemed a shame to send it back.The vegetable kabab was perfectly seasoned and eldante in texture.My wife enjoyed the flavours of her meal too.The waitress a pleasant young lady who checked on us frequently and at appropriate timing. The ice tea was huge, we were offered refills but we didn't need them.The deserts were also very good.Bonus star earned for plastic staws.

They have a beautiful interior, great location, the music was upbeat and fun. I ordered the coconut curry and for 13.75 and it was a big bowl soooooo good. I am not one for spice but love a good curry and this hit the spot. Great customer service and everything was delicious.

I love going here. However I was choked about the seating arrangement by the staff. There was 4 booths empty and available, and I asked the waitress if we could get one cause I'm pregnant. She was very arrogant and said no I'd have to sit at a table. Was very uncomfortable and sore after sitting at the table. Don't think I'll go back even though it's my favourite restaurant in town and go to Solas on a regular.

Me and my boyfriend dined here twice while we were staying at the super 8. And both nights were completely different experiences. The first night I was super blown away with the chicken plate I ordered and the service we got from our waitress was amazing, she was very polite and checked up on us regularly she had great bubbly, outgoing customer service. I was so impressed by the establishment, food and service we received. Decided we should go again.The second night was a big let down. Our waitress the next night Gave off snobby vibes, we didn't get menus till after we ordered drinks, the food wasn't the best, the wings wernt very good and the nachos we ordered were chips from the bottom of the bag with a smidgen of cheese and toppings. The main courses we got, the food tasted off and unfortunately me and my boyfriend got a little bit of food poisoning along with our dogs that we shared the left overs with. The restraunt wasn't busy AT ALL and the waitress had other girls bring out our food and tend to any requests we may have had while she spent her time flirting with the 2 guys at the bar, she didn't come around until it was time for us to pay our tab. Nd to top it all off she had the audacity to complain to the other customers that we were cheap tipping as we only gave her $15 for her bad service on a $177 tab. Honestly we shouldn't even have tipped anything. All and all I'd give this place a higher rate but management should highly consider the sort of waitress's they have representing their establishment. We are not returning customers.

When restaurants cut cost on food at the expense of their customers10 Oz steak was definitely not to weight.Salad had many old and unpleasant lettuce pieces in it.Battered fish was soggy and blandDrinks were okayA little more effort would be much appreciated for the cost.

Overall it's one of the best places in Dawson Creek, they have a nice menu, brunch hours and happy hours.We ate prime rib, soup of the day and a sandwich, and we also came back on the weekend for shakshouka (the picture).The desserts are also nice.

Easily the best restaurant in Dawson Creek.As someone staying in the super 8 attached to sola's I was absolutely blown away by the quality & the general atmosphere of this particular restaurant.The hotel isn't the best (I'll leave it at that) so I really wasn't expecting much when I went to the attached restaurant. I was surprised in the best possible way.The food is fantastic. (best burger I've had in a long time) Service is wonderful, it's never super busy, so the food comes out quick & the service is easy to find. Went there almost every night for the two weeks I was in town & will definitely be back, even if I'm staying at a different hotel.

I reallg enjoy the food and upbeat atmosphere. The drinks are delicious as well! And the servers are always very nice!!! Really like robin!!!
