Worst experience I faced with them as they misguided me about my laptop purchase and subscription. I paid whole year for the benefits but got no benefits coverage. They charge huge amount by displaying discounted amount .

I agree with all the other customers whom have had experiences with Geek Squad that are displeasing, unprofessional and just down right ridiculous. My experience started with booking an installation. Which you think would be a fairly easy process but nope! On two occasions my appointment for the service I requested was booked incorrectly; not to mention during a pandemic I had to have four different people come into my home only to tell me that they weren't scheduled enough time to perform the install...really?? How many people does it take to get basic instructions correct?? Apparently more than three. I've wasted my time, gas and it's more the aggravation that you have to endure. Only the last customer service rep I spoke with had some understanding and consideration for the trouble I had been through. It's a disgrace that a big box store like Bestbuy has this kind of service. Not impressed and will be escalating my complaint.

got straight up scammed by geek squad, long story short i came in to get my laptop fixed and somehow paid over $600 thinking it would be fixed but they did straight up nothing… and i ended up with an annual membership which they told me would help fix my laptop cus thats all i wanted. after all that i tried to explain my frustration and was met with salesmen trying to sell me the most expensive apple laptop so thanks for nothing PLS DO NOT PAY FOR ANYTHING UNTIL CONSULTING OTHER TECH STORES OR DOING YOUR RESEARCH, THEY LITERALLY PREY ON THE INNOCENT AND OBLIVIOUS, i didnt know anything about tech but yeah spilt milk i just hope im atleast helping one person about to get scammed by these people

NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALLReason: Even i already had a bad experience with them in the past , i paid $18/month for three years , when issue comes to phone, i called Geek Squad and they asked to pay $300 extra to fix it . WHY GEEK SQUAD CHARGED FOR THREE YEARS ??Yesterday when i visited Best Buy to get new phone, Best Buy told me that in order to buy new I phone i have to go through Carrier plans only.While in the middle of process , service Rep told me that in order to get phone charger , i have to go through Geek Squad plan, and they charge me $80 to give me charger and screen protector . Now initially i refused it and Guy told me that i can cancel geek squad plan anytime , even tomorrow .Toady i called Geek Squad , another surprised comes up that either i have to wait for a month or i can cancel it in store only. BIG LIERS EVERBEST BUY was good place without GEEK SQUAD. Now its WORST place to buy Anything

geek squad = tech salesmen, basically they should really rebrand cus they dont help anyone unfortunately, if you are looking to buy tech great there will be many many people trying to sell you the next best thing but if you are trying to get something fixed youre better off visiting your local computer shop. They do not fix laptops!!! they will actually send your broken tech to a facility to get it “fixed” and you have to pay an arm and a leg to just ship it out (and then pay an arm and a leg to for the parts + the repair) paying close to a brand new laptop, which they do not disclose and this is after the expensive diagnostic that says you are paying for a repair, many many hidden fees unfortunately, they are out for all your money be careful

Absolutely SCAM… do not purchase iPhones from BESTBUY with GEEKSQUAD warranty because they will charge u 1000 to replace a phone that was already faulty. Do yourself a favour and buy the phone directly from APPLE BECAUSE BEATBUY will sell you a faulty phone just like they did me. I tried calling to get this phone replaced but they are trying to scam me by charging me extra.

They charged me $100 plus tax to lookup for the technical issues in my laptop and said they will ship it to some other place and get it evaluated. After one week they called me and told the motherboard needs to be replaced and the cost for it will be $650 plus taxes. Asked me to pay more than $700 to fix an old laptop and not even send me a report of what exactly were the things they inspected.

Under qualified, sad excuse for technicians. They have no regard for people’s data, they do things without the knowledge. Cancelled my geek squad membership today after all my documents were lost while changing my hard-drive. Brampton is a diverse community, start hiring other races as well.

Scammer !! Firstly, they charge $50.00 for unlimited replacement of screen protectors for apple watch. When I visit the store for replacement employee name shanker gave the excuse that they dont have the screen protectors. Second time manager i guess his name was tushar indian guy gave the excuse that machine is broken so we cannot do anything. employees have a serious attitude dealing with customers. Bad experience do not recommand for service. They are big cheaters.. Beware of them.

I recommend people to stay away from geek squad warranties at all possible cost. The employees are deciding, I asked for my laptop to be fixed and the employee told me it’s gunna take 1-3 weeks, it’s been 3 weeks and the employee at the store said their still ordering a part and it will a arrived in a additional week and it can take up to 60 days for the laptop to return to me , implying it’s not a priority. THE Part they ordered is a new mother board, this is a gaming laptop the price of new mother board is the price of a brand new computer. When I get the product back after 8 weeks they wanted to sell it as a refurbished product and told me to buy another computer. When I asked them if I can just have my laptop back I’ll deal with the problems they said they can’t give it back and I just needed my computer for school. Stay away from geek squad warranties deal with the manufactures! Much more reliable then employees who are just planning to refurbish a product so they can sell it.
