This firm is almost the worst accounting firm I have had so far as the accountant can't even file a simple tax return. I hired this firm as I left Canada and wanted them to file my departure tax without any headaches. I approached them almost 6 months before the filing deadline and provided them with all the documents I had to make sure if I need to make sure I don't need to have more contributions to my RRSP before the end of February if I owe CRA. The accountant got back to me and confirmed that I paid more taxes than I had to and CRA will refund me a portion of it. Although I told the accountant about my home buyer plan and how much I paid so far, he didn't calculate it in my income and I had to pay almost $11,000 to CRA which I could have contributed to my RRSP.He didn't inform me of his mistake until the exact CRA deadline and I had no choice but to pay that money; his only answer was that he made a mistake and apologized for it.They didn't help me with the re-adjustment letter I got from CRA which I had to pay more money because of another mistake he made on my deductions.If there was a choice for me to give them negative stars I would definitely do that as they did very simple mistakes on the individual tax return and didn't do anything for their client satisfaction. I won't definitely recommend them to anyone.
