Wow. We had a furnace issue on the weekend. 3 hour minimum (at I think they said $170 an hour) with a $100 dollar surcharge. I don't mind paying the after-hours charge. I get it but this was ridiculous. I told them I would pass. I found someone else at a much better rate and in fact walked me through some checks and I got it back running until Monday when they came in and fixed the old part and charged us $175 tax in.

We bought our on demand water tank and split unit air conditioning from HyMark Collingwood. All of the staff were great to deal with. Very professional and attentive to what we wanted. Including yesterday when we had an issue with venting on our water tank. During a snow storm they had someone here to fix it within a few hours. Highly recommend their work.

We have a new build installed and maintained by Hy-Mark. We have worked with Hy-Mark on upgrades (after build).After a problem with a tankless water heater, I can no longer recommend Hy-Mark, they just don't care.Problem started Dec 25th, called their hotline, closed until Jan 3, no backup, no emergency service, just closed.After Jan 3 they were at the house for 3 days over 2 months, trying to isolate the issue. Now let me state this was a intermittent issue, that left no error codes, hard to resolve. The water heater mfg Rannai, essentially walked away.After 2.5 months, I worked with the builder to source a standard water heater, which was funded by the builder, myself and Hy-Mark, I had to source my own install.After research I found a very reputable company to install.While removing the tankless installed by Hy-Mark, we found the exhaust vent was installed with a valley to line up with holes in a joist, resulting in the exhaust vent being filled with water, most likely a part of the reason for failure.I reported this to Hy-Mark, the response was thanks, no offer for reimbursement for the install or the 2.5 months of limited hot water.Stay away from this company.
