Breton Manor

Been dealing with noisy neighbours for over 4 and a half months now. We call Boardwalk almost on a nightly basis (anywhere between midnight and 5am daily..sometimes more than once in one night) and they arent doing anything about it. I was told maybe you shouldn't listen to their conversation" but it's quite hard when you make out every word they say as they yell at the top of their lungs all night long. They not only yell extremely loud

We’ve been living here for a couple of years now. They really improved the building, lots of renovations. The maintenance team here are the best! It’s a very safe and quiet neighbourhood

the day we moved in we had pharoh ants all over our bathroom and kitchen because management forgot to tell us before we moved in. they painted over noodles and left over stickers from the past tendants. the cupboards have falled apart twice already. the new management is very good to help with these situations. but the downfall is the water gets regularily shut off without notice. they have just started to place notices up the past few weeks. the maintenace to the outside yard is very poor. garbage and left over construction material is spewed all over the outside of the building. its bad when the childrens parents have to clean up garbage soo the kids can play outside!!!

We've lived here for a number of years and as previous reviews have stated... it wasn't the greatest. That being said, in the last year we've had a new area coordinator come in and he has improved the building dramatically! Its been renovated and he's always quick to respond and resolve any issues that come up. This is a beautiful area to live in so its a blessing that the building has improved. I recommend to all families looking for a safe and friendly area thats affordable.

Used to live here when I was a kid. Wish I could move back there. The only problem I had was the constant laundry room fires, forcing my family out of the building because it was on the 3rd floor and i lived in unit 318. Overall, great apartment. Had many good memories there

The manager of Breton Manor is very very RULE. When you are moving out, the manager treats you like trash. She does not know how to respect people. The manager just gave me five mins to prepare before she showed the suite to the other people without any notice or a phone call in advance. When I said no, she insulted me in front of the other people. She thinks that she can do anything to this suite because you gave the moving out notice. Boardwalk should train your employees properly and professional. People pay such high rent not to get insulted by building manager.

Apartment was fine from what I remember growing up there. Although saw another review about the laundry room fires (caused by Arson just fyi) and can vouch I was one of the family members who's was trapped on the 3rd floor of the building. Building has since been renovated but the fire doors did their job so safety was up to code.

I've lived at Breton Manor for over 1 year. From the building management to the maintenance staff, it's very well run. The building is clean, quiet, safe and conveniently located. I have no hesitation in recommending it for both individuals and families.

We've lived here for about a year now. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The building is incredibly well maintained. The maintenance staff are also very friendly.The location of the building is amazing. It's easy to hop on the Whitemud, or quick to get to the Henday.There is a ton of transit options too. It's very easy to walk around.It's near great parks and playgrounds, and walking paths.It's a great community to raise a family in. I'm glad we picked this building.

It a great place to live, a little high on the rent though. Peaceful and friendly neighbors and above all safe away from the issues plaguing Edmonton of late.
