RBC Royal Bank

This RBC branch was the final nail in the coffin as to why i decided to completely close my RBC account. Good thing the RBC branch in 8th avenue has a more gracious and professional staff.

AVOID THIS BRANCH at all Cost.If you plan to keep your hard earn money Safe!...I report my wallet and Cards stolen.I lost much $$$.THIS branch made a Fraud REPORT.Noting happen,I went to ANOTHER BranchThey Said Such Fraud Report" was NEVER Made!..How UNPROFESSIONAL is that

Absolute JOKE OF A BANK. Thanks to them they have wiped out my retirement plans & now I will have to return for at least 3yrs to replace the losses...dealing with them on line, as well as, on the phone is unbearable to say the least as it took 45 minutes to get absolutely nowhere on a very simple TFSA transaction. In the end I hung up & will be moving ALL my banking elsewhere as soon as possible.

This branch is in the core of business community but unfortunately the level of the service is lower than any other branch in Calgary. This branch should have been a role model for other RBC sites but I think employees here are working hard to make sure that don't happen.After 3 months of struggle they still could not find my cheque.

I recently visited the main branch of RBC in Calgary after many many years...very sad to see how it has gone from a bustling and lively flagship branch to a dark and dead place. What used to be several floors of cubicles filled with advisors has been reduced to what looked like one floor of closed off offices. Only 2 tellers were on duty, light bulbs burnt out and not a sign of any decoration for the festive season. If downtown Calgary is looking to revitalize then the first steps should be taken by huge profitable corporations to make their premises feel bright and welcoming.

This bank likes to make profit off the disabled. Genuinely disgusted,when a person with disabilities asks for some compassion and is denied. Billion $ company and they still gotta take take take from the disabled person.

There was a wonderful bank in this bank! Very cool manager Harinder Singh, helped with the application, answered all questions, a professional in his field! Thank you very much))) We will cooperate with this bank)

Unfortunately leaving a low review. Online RBC appointment booking displayed 4th street location. Arrived there on time, confirmed the app displayed it incorrectly and needed to taxi to this location. Upon arriving, they refused me service even though they knew I was on my way (after talking on the phone), suggesting I was late - when their system integration with OWNR is obviously broken, and was on time according to the parameters given.Don't waste people's time. Value your customers.

I was looking to finance a commercial property and Taiwo Adetola was very prompt in all communications and gave me a detailed overview of all the possible options. Highly recommend him as a financial advisor and a great resource for wealth management as well .

If Google had an option of zero stars, I would have given that. Let me elaborate on the ordeal we faced.My wife and I visited the branch to open our new bank accounts. When we enquired about what all benefits are offered under the new account opening, the person Ryan K (RBC representative) was not interested in explaining. Instead, he rushed to open the account as he did not have time. We were new to the country and somehow wanted to still proceed with opening the account, as we both were employed and needed an account to receive our salary. To this moment, it was still manageable.While my wife was opening the account and filling out the required documents, I was in the corridor with my kid. Ryan asked me to go outside the bank and wait as the kid was a bit cranky. IT WAS DRIZZLING OUTSIDE, and we did not have an umbrella. We landed a day before and did not have a cell number either. I could not call my wife to step out.The ordeal did not end here. Once my wife filled in the account details, Ryan asked her to call me. As she reached outside, I explained to her the whole situation. She went inside and asked Ryan not to proceed with the account opening. To which he agreed. Surprisingly, My wife got a debit card after one week!!!!! No wonder he wanted to achieve his targets.Throughout the process, he was discourteous, rude, and disrespectful. We have been working in India/Singapore/United Kingdom/USA, and the experience RBC Calgary Main branch was our worst banking experience EVER.
