Presse Café

Cozy spot to work and laptop friendly, wifi is not the best but will do. Not so busy so you'd be good to find an outlet to plug in. The smell of the kitchen beside was disgusting tho. I guess the design could be better, don't personally like the huge posters of coffee in the walls!

They have special latte before 10am at $2. Very good deal and good quality. The only bad thing is the entrance too narrow and did not install automatic open button. It is very difficult to pull the door when windy and hit on body when it closed.

Cozy and welcoming, Presse Café in downtown Toronto ticks all the right boxes for what a café should be like. From sweet to savoury, there’s plenty to choose from for breakfast. The coffee was good too which pairs well with the relaxing atmosphere in Presse Café. I would highly recommend them!

Very nice local coffee shop. I was able to sit and work for an hour very comfortably. Coffee and baked goods were very good.

Great little cafe to sit and work in! The sandwich I had was good too, and iced coffee is great. And Bella and the others are always helpful and super nice.

Came right at 10am and managed to order their special before 10am of the $2 latte! food.I don't drink coffee daily, but I thought their coffee was good!The sandwiches on display looked delicious and the portions very generous. I would return to try their food.Would recommend and come back.

I came here at around 9:45am today and got the $2 latte deal. The employee told me that the deal was only valid for the small size only. I didn’t get any food item but they did have a lot of different items available. I was quickly acknowledged and served by friendly employees, ordered and got my drink within 2-3 minutes. The atmosphere was quiet, cute and friendly; a few people on their laptops. I only stayed for around 5-10 minutes but it’s easy to see how people can stay for longer than that.

Great coffee shop to grab a drink, a snack, and work on your laptop. They have a good variety of seating. Conveniently located in the Omni King Edward Hotel near the King subway station.

i am a regular customer, as usual i went your cafe and atmosphere was really really bad.on july 16 around 10. there were 2 staffs working one asian girl and one another girl. it was busy and i waited for 15 minutes to give my order and more long to receive it.the Asian girl was working so hard and fast and even though there was 2 staff but one was just standing and ordering her to do things. i saw she was making food in kitchen but the other girl was continuously calling her to make drinks and take order. and the way she was giving order was like she brought her as her slave. i think she is manager. but if you have manager like this in your cafe am sure it not gonna run long we all customers were just talking about this all the time.its not first time am seeing it but lot of times but today it was horrible. i saw the other girl is very bad with her behaviour i think she is from Philippine thats my opinion. i wanted to ask her name but by looking at her behaviour i didn't. i recommend to take action and this feedback is not only from me thoughts are same from other guest too.

Top on my cafe list! If I need a place to study where I can actually find a place to sit at. The ambience and food was amazing. I love how this place had a student discount when purchasing food. Definitely coming back! The matcha latte was very good and the price was reasonable.I’d say the music played in the background (light piano) which is also what I listen to when studying, got me into completing the assignments I planned out. I’ll have to stop by again when deadlines approach.
